I know exactly how you feel (down to the heavily decayed wisdom tooth bit, I had one of mine crumble in the back of my mouth...)

After how many weeks on pain killers trying to wait it out until I qualified for insurance, I finally said screw it and had them removed. And believe me, I couldn't be happier that they're gone.

I know it's scary, but really, it is *way* worth it to avoid the bad things that can happen if you *don't* have them taken out. Deep breaths can help.

I know I need it done, and really I want it done. I have longed to have it done. But now that I'm DOING it...

*hugs you guys tight tight tight*

You happen to be scheduled on my birthday, so any excess joyful energy from the celebrations shall be expedited your direction.

Also, I'm taking the 10th off from work as the 11th is a holiday, so I get a 4-day weekend immediately following my birthday for just 1 day of vacation, how cool is that? Anyway, the point being I'll be available the day after for various pettings and distractionary porn and all that good stuff as you recover. *snuggles*

Alas, I have no one. He told me I'm older than the average full-on four-wisdom-extraction, so it's going to take me longer to recover; he said make sure I have help around the house, etc. and I did not want to hear that.

*sighs wistfully* No, I'd better not...

;) Nah, they're pretty self-contained. I've just been here before: being incapacitated, or mildly so, and being a mom at the same time sucks.

(This is how behind I am, that I just now saw this)

*hugs like mad* Those kinds of problems are very rare -- I get all panicky and hypochondriacal too, but when I had my wisdom teeth out, and then later (unrelated) a root canal and crown, it all went smoothly. I'll be keeping all kindsa good thoughts and prayers and everything regardless, and I have complete confidence that you'll be fine. *hugs more and more*

*hugs* thank you. It does help to know that the vast majority of people have had an easy time with this.
