Pelosi and company are at it again, this time trying to remove what little influence the right still has in congress. by putting an end to the fourteen year old fairness rules constituted under the Gengrich "contract with America" here is a bit more on said changes:
Per
Human Events: "Republicans from offering alternative bills, amendments to Democrat bills or even the guarantee of open debate accessible by motions to recommit for any piece of legislation during the entire 111th Congress."
With the recently finished election of president elect Obama most of my attention has been focused on what was going on with his construction of his "change" and construction of a new government. However it seems that Obama is not the only person that needs to be watched. Despite whatever political rhetoric the left is currently spouting passage of the repeal of these Fairness Rules” flies in the face any attempts at working together in a bipartisan manner. not that i expected much from congress to begin with but I had hoped the left would at least make some pretense of working with the right it seems such is a lost hope, welcome to the USSA.
