A friend of the devil is a friend of mine.

Yay! Fun day, and a post to boot. Everyone wins!

Went to Halifax Shopping Center with my mom and Lori. As much as I hate clothes shopping, it didn't suck with Lori around. I could make a joke about the last line, but I won't. Back on track. Went to Pier 1 and looked at all the over-priced furniture. As trendy as it may be..200 buck for a small table is just not worth it. Bored with furniture, we crossed the road to the mall. First stop, food court, for overpriced chinese food and a surprisingly good greek pita. The table we chose turned out to be right beside the table that was being used as an unofficial meeting spot for a group of people. My point? None whatsoever. Keep in mind whos journal you're reading.

After finally remembering what I went to the mall to get, went to Pseudio to look for clothes. Ended up trying on 5 shirts, and getting 3. Funny story about the other 2. They looked cool on the rack and all, but when I tryed them on it was obvious that baby blue is not my color. Baby blue becomes flaming blue when I put it on. Those shirts went back, the other 3 were good. Onward to the rest of the mall...which consisted of us quickly entering and exiting 2 more clothing stores before heading back to Sears to leave. On the way through Sears, my mom insisted that I try on some jeans. Fair enough. Tryed on about 7 pairs, which was about 6 pairs more than I wanted to at that point, but if you've ever been shopping with my mom you know what the situation was like. Anyway, ended up getting 2 pairs. Fun fun. Overall, shopping was very productive today..which is strange. I'm sure I set a new record for most clothes I've bought in a single day. If you're still reading, then I'm still writing.

Went to Dwighs house on the way home to see the leather sofa. Incase you didn't hear, I'm getting a leather sofa from Dwight. Anyway, the sofa passed the test. Can't wait to get some more furniture for down here. Everyone says how empty it is. Probably because it is.

Drove Lori home, and I came back to get ready to go to work. In my preperations, I decided to burn a new CD. KMFDM, Pig, Tool and Strapping Young Lad. Great work music. Too bad it was still burning when I left for work. I though it would finish by 7:28 if I started it at 7:25. About one minute too late. Oh well. At work, while we were on the field, my mom and Dwight pull up and hand me my CD player. What a nice surprise. I was sure it was going to be a boring night. Did I mention the fact that I love my job? As much as I bitch about it and usually don't want to go, I do love it. Got back from work around 9:30, earliest night all year. Another great thing. Got home, chatted with people, then started writing this post. There. Now you know how my day went, and you're a better person for it.

Now, during reading this, you may have realized a lack of angst, hatred for myself or others, or a general un-willingness to live. Yep, it's still a journal post though.

If you thought nobody cared you'd keep it inside.
