An icy summer ride of death

You may have heard from me that I made a giant iceblock in my freezer. If not, I made a giant iceblock in my freezer. It turned out to be over a foot long and about 8 inches high. So, what did I plan to do with a giant iceblock in the middle of summer? Iceblock sledding!

Iceblock sledding started off pretty slow. Me and Trevor took turns jumping onto an iceblock, trying to get down a slanted lawn. Not much sucess, but lots of minor injuries. At one point I just decided to hit the moving iceblock at a running pace, jump on top and ride it down to the lake. Kind of like an icey skateboard. That turned out to be a bad idea, as the top was pretty slippery at this point, making the iceblock very hard to stand on. So I flew off into the grass, neck first. Ouch! At least I know how not to do it next time. We got tired of the skateboarding style, and switched to laying on it and getting pulled to start off. That also didn't work out so well, until the iceblock broke in half. After that, we were averaging about 20 feet per slide. Fun fun!

Eventually the iceblocks lost their charm and were cast off into the lake. So ended a day of dangerous fun.

Bonfire: almost certainly on Friday.
