Lohikan: I’ve spoken of the good times. I’ve spoken of the bad times. I’ve spoken of the fired times. Out of all of the trouble and many bouts of “What the fuck…” about Lohikan, it was a worthwhile experience. I got the opportunity to travel east and experience east coast life. Traveling to New York City was an amazing experience as well and I would not have even fathomed the idea of going to NYC if not for Lohikan. The people I met were all amazing, though I question the integrity of some, they were great people. I’ve easily made some connections with people from the UK, Scotland, Australia, Netherlands, Sweden, France and Egypt. I do hope to visit them some day.

Ashley: I can’t say enough about her. She’s amazing and we’ve been through so much in the past 2 weeks, you’d think we’ve been married for years. She is the female version of me, except a lot cuter, ha! Our stories might conflict about when we first spoke, I believe it was during one of our “Church” meetings…or maybe it was the time she walked by my cabin and we talked randomly one night. Well anyway little did I know weeks later we would be in the situation we’re in now. We’ve decided to stay together and work things out long distance. The plan is for her to come to Portland in November and be around for about a week. I go to Indiana for New Years and Spring Break and find summer work together. Anyone who knows about relationships that blossom at camp, either you’ve been in one or seen one, you know.

Remainder of summer ’06: I don’t know. I’ve teased the idea of showing up at Namanu in hopes of picking up something. Maybe do nothing. Definitely set up for school this fall (what’s my major?!: education or multimedia?). Also teased coming back to ODS.

*I spent an extra hour in Indianapolis waiting for the flight, my battery was also running low, so I didn’t get enough time to finish this. Forgetting my thoughts, I’m out for now.

P.S. Be on the lookout for my Lohikan Stories series on LJ.
