(no subject)
i remember valentines day in elementary school. i would feel so special because i got like 25 valentines in my box, not caring that everyone was required to make valentines for everyone else..even lil fat big hair fourth grade alex. today..was fun.ive always like v day, even when single. who could hate being given free candy? its a dumb holiday, but its just another one of those days that are supposed to mean more, an excuse to buy stupid things for people you wont remember in 5 years. but as they say in domgma, life is just a series of moments. so although not everyone likes you or precal is stapling ur face in, this is life. we knows why, we all believe different things. sitting with laura after school, laughing at race jokes with corealous, seeing jess smile from the 800-color sweater of hers, seeing the ghetto kids playing football with a coke can, watching four square games during lunch, slow dancing with laura to music only i can hear while she does that lil im-scared-but-lets-go-with-it laugh and look of hers, cantinflas jokes in spanish, giving aaron the evil eye while he hits on laura repeatedly, etc etc etc. i wouldnt give it up 4 anything, well except maybe th aaron part. i am content. happy. i wonder where we are all going? and this site? will out little livejournal world be like the movie The Sandlot and one by one we'll all drift away until there's only one person left, clinging to the past? i cannot wait for our 10 year reunion, as lame as itll be (no ones prob. gonna come). laura will be an olympian, jess will be an excutive or nurse, rachel m will sell car insurance or something, aaron will still dance at GOld;s lounge, tom r will be a lawyer, tom m will be a scout battalion adult leader and a banker, kristina will be on broadway, jody will be a doctor or missions leader, sarah giles, i donoo, but im sure she;'ll be in a church choir somewhere, and playin organ for the baptist churches...hosssanh. and i , alexander manuel garmendia, will hopefully be alive and happy. and at this point, that sounds like more than enough for me.
