more fun with Twisted Sister

Jen is definitely unique. Just the other day we were driving around and she started singing along to the cd that was playing. This isn't a momentous occasion normally, but this time I just smiled at her. She was just singing along to 'Twisted Sister - A Twisted Christmas'. When she finally saw me grinning at her, she confessed that she actually enjoys Twisted Sister (but that she will deny admitting it). More proof that I found the right girl for me :)

She was hesitant at first to letting the kids listen to it assuming that there would be some detrement to their ability to think like normal people after hearting the lyrics, but eventually she allowed me to play it in the car with them. Although she made me skip the '12 days of Christmas' song which they redubbed as 'Twisted days of Christmas'. Yesterday I had Andy in the backseat and the song came on without me paying attention. It got half way into it.. and I was thinking that the lyrics were a bit too fast for him to pick up on them so it shouldn't be a problem... until I hear him chime in along with the song to "5 Stolen Rings" (aka 5 golden rings)... maybe she was right :) ... and I think the 'partridge in a pear tree' might be 'a tatoo for my tree' which could bring up all kinds of interesting questions if he picked up on the lyrics.
