Hectic Mother-in-law
Jen's mom went into the hospital two Mondays ago... she went in to get a scar tissue/tumor/blockage/whatever removed from her bowel which was causing her some serious problems. She went in hoping that it was just scar tissue... we were dreading that it was cancer returned.
They removed a 4-inch tumor, cancerous, which had grown within 5 months time. They also saw spots on her liver, intestines, and something else... not to mention some free floating tissue that he pulled out.
She spent last week in denial, but has come around to being scared (like the rest of us)... Her choice of dealing with the stress is really annoying me. She's spent the last 4 days yelling and bitching out her family. It's getting to the point where she's not talking to people to tell them what is going on, but to tell them how horrible of a person they are. I'm getting very fed up with this attitude.
She told Jen that she's going on heavy chemo... that she's going on two weeks of chemo, and then two weeks of no chemo... from what I got out of Jen, this therapy method does not have a determinable end-date... so in theory she's going to be doing two weeks swings until 'whenever'.
