I haven't made anything new in forever since I'm in a rut. Help.
First row is for contets, second is just dicking around.

Even though you're saying you're in a rut I still see a whole lot of creativity and good things going on here. I think all of them could use a little more contrast, but that might just be me because I'm the contrast queen. Although I think one definitely needs some more contrast, it's way too washed out. I also think your subject is too hard to make out in the second icon, but you get so much bonus points there for trying to do something creative with it.

This might be more of a style thing but I think you could totally get away with amping up the saturation more, expectually in three, six, and seven. I also think the texture at the top of nine is a little confusing.

What helps me to get out of a rut is a lot of experimenting. Like I'll take a texture and set it to every single different layer type or I'll do some really crazy coloring or something. Even if it looks terrible afterwards you don't have to save it, but you're at least trying new things.

But seriously I think you're totally awesome at this icon thing. Hopefully my comments will help a little bit? I hope you can get out of your rut soon :

I love your icons in general, but sometimes it's a little difficult to tell just what's going on in some of them. This is especially true in 5 and 9. 2 a little bit as well.

That being said, they're still fun to look at.
