Holy damn, I'm updating.
So, the Muse show was on Sunday. It was sweet. How can someone play piano AND lead guitar (only guitar in the band, in fact) AND sing that well? I swear, Matthew Bellamy is some sort of god with a voice like that. He hit every single note from the studio recordings, and higher. It was crazy. CRAZY.
Plus it was a lot of fun. Micah and Shannon and I went with a bunch of older kids like Kyle and April and Liz and Cassidy and Caleb and Nathan, and later on Jason and Andy and (Rehab) Ryan. It was an awesome time, definitely.
I guess not a whole lot else has been going on. On Saturday, Micah and I went with Jimmy Ray down to Yellow Springs. All the hippies were at home for Thanksgiving break though, so it wasn't as interesting as we had hoped for. I did get a few free Muse stickers, though, so that was cool.
Before that day, Micah was in Michigan, so I hung with Ashley and Annie a bunch. It was fun.
I'm continuing to read Beck's biography, so that's awesome and whatnot.
I might get a Steinway piano that's been in the family for fucking ever. Yes!! It's sitting in my uncle and aunt's house for now, but my other aunt, Ann, (my uncle's sister), and my grandmother think that it should be put to good use and restored for someone who will truly love it. I think my uncle agrees, but my aunt might be a bit pissed off about it. Too bad, I guess, cos I really would love it a lot and such, and I'll actually play it.
This weekend is a holiday gallery hop downtown, so I think Micah and I are going with Amber. She seems like a really cool kid.
I visited Blendon today and talked with Ms. Wiand, Mrs. Riesterer, and Mr. K. It was pretty cool, but it sucked that Mrs. DeMooy and Mrs. Warner both weren't there today. Damn.
I wrote a "goth" poem and an "emo" kid poem. I accidentally cut my tongue open on a candy cane, so for good measure, I wiped the blood on the "goth" poem. They're fucking beautiful works of art for sure.
It sucks that I have to play Christmas music and contemporary power-ballad pieces for piano, so I'm still looking for a new teacher. I hope that the opportunity presents itself soon, cos that would really be a nice thing.
I'm thinking that's all for now, really. Catch you cats later.
