When I was a kid I'm sure I imagined that various toys had feelings or the statues were watching. There was one tree I particularly liked. Do plants count as objects?
More recently, there was this coffeemaker at the first lair after Magneto decided I was useful... I swear that thing had a personality. It would get moody if I made tea before coffee in the morning. It used to growl at the news with me. The coffee really seemed stronger when there was a lot of conservative asshatery going on, like the machine was fueled by indignation.
