i think i am still in shock.
Alright, i am going to start off by saying that i never win anything. 4 years of attending every eagle pride lunch thing, any contest, you name it..i dont win. UNTIL TODAY! My moms birthday is saturday and she wanted to go to florida for the 4 day weekend so i agreed even though i am always bored out of my mind here. I woke up this morning and decided to look up local concerts to see if there was anything worth going to, well it turns out My Chemical Romance is here Friday night! i flipped out and automatically tried to order tickets, but they were sold out. SOOO it turns out that that there is this Tampa radio station that is holding the concert and they made it so that tickets were 97 cents and you could only buy them by downloading them online, they sold out after 2 minutes of being available. figures, the one thing that would save my weekend was sold out. So i was reading more on the website and saw that there was this radio station van that was going to be at some best buy and if you went there was a chance you could win tickets. The van was only there from 5 to 6pm and my mom didnt get home with the car until 5:30..so i drove to the best buy as quickly as almost legally possible and arrived 7 minutes before the drawing. The lady told me to put my name on a form and enter it in the box and that i had to stay there until 6 for the drawing. Well to start off i felt really stupid, everyone there was with their friends having a fun time talking and had been there for the past 2 hours and then here I come walking up by myself because i dont know anyone here. As you've probably guessed by now, at 6pm the only name she drew from the box was mine. I WON TICKETS THAT ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO GET TO A CONCERT THAT I FOUND OUT ABOUT THE DAY BEFORE IT! AHHHHH :) i cant even begin to express the joy that this radio station lady brought to my day..or even month. I really hope this is a sign that my luck is going to change for the better! So tomorrow night i am going to go see MCR, bymyself, and have the best fucking time ever. fuck yeah.
