Banning pants How is it in this great time of need, A time when kids get abused and molested more than before. A time when kids go into schools and shoot other kids. A time when jobs are at an all time low and homelessness is at an all time high. How is it that louisiana say " We think low-slung pants got to go"
So what bob and susan now have to live on the street with no job. So what people are starving to death. So what kids are being abused and exploited. So what gas prices are sky rocketing. Screw the people....I want to correct this pants problem.
DOes anybody else find the audacity of this guy a little to over bearing? Maybe i'm over reacting. Maybe the 20 or so soldiers we lost in the last week in Iraq/afghanistan means nothing. I bet if low-slung pants were illegal they'd have lived.
ANd would this be the america they fought for. An america where we say screw the week and helpless and correct meanial problems. A governments job is to work for the people. TO make decisions that as a group are impossible to make. It's to be a minimal force but our government has become this monster big brother who tells us how to act and how to think. I read a quote the other day that says " we forfiet three-fourth of ourselves when we try to be like everyone else." Time change and this senator who is pushing this needs to realize that just becuase he doesn't like it doesn't mean others don't. As a senator he must realize that he makes decisions for the benifit of hte country not to make everyone like his opinions.
