My Family, or Why I Really Hate Re-Doing the Computer

OK, my family annoys me. Last March, over my Spring Break, they prevailed upon me to fix their computer. Now, basically, between everyone they'd blown it to hell with spyware and viruses and extra users (They had 7, one for each member of the family. This was a bad idea, but I didn't do it.) Now, as I'm the tech guy in the family, I took one look at it and said it was unsalvageable. I formatted the hard drive, reloaded everything, and such all was well. I set up only two users, password protected both so that my sisters had to ask permission to get on, and made the one my sisters got on unable to install programs. Worked really well, for awhile. However, my dad started logging on to the Admin account and not logging off. My sisters took advantage of un-asked for computer time, and once again, the computer got choked with viruses. My parents yelled at me to fix it again. I resisted, because I hate re-doing work, not to mention I TOLD YOU WHAT TO DO TO KEEP THE STUPID THING SECURE. I was ignored, and annoyed.

Today, I finally got pressured into fixing it again. This time, the computer decided to be stupid, and so all told, I put 4-5 hours into working on it. Boot disks didn't work, kill disks crapped out, everything that could go wrong, did. It's done, and I'm beyond annoyed. If my parents ruin my work again, I am not touching the stupid thing, they can buy a new computer. They need to soon, anyway. Thus ends my rant.
