theatrical_muse: #332, are you more childish or childlike?
I'm not entirely certain whether I am childlike or childish at all. After all, I was created almost at the very beginning of time. If I had to say, though, I would definitely consider myself childish. Childlike to me means innocent and unworldly, and I am most certainly neither of those. Whereas, I am childish in that I enjoy a sort of perverse pleasure in simple, albeit destructive things. Had I ever gone to an elementary school, you can be certain I would have been one of the bullies.
Again, this is just another reflection on me as a demon. We demons delight in destruction, and we make no excuses about it either. Have you ever known a small child who would perhaps play with a cat too harshly, perhaps pulling it on the tail or throwing or kicking it around? That's a good way to describe us. Or maybe that one child that always manages to break something wherever it goes. Or the one who beats up his little sister. That's basically a demon in a nutshell. And, believe me, we are proud of this, and we don't want you to think otherwise.
