I'm afraid you're no longer in your world miss. This is a city known as Discedo, the place you wish to return to isn't available.

Hmmm, it might be a little hard to take it all in. But, you've been sort of kidnapped from your world, and placed here. All of us in the city have been taken from our homes.

It;s not really known, or agreed on. Something terrible seems to have happened to this city, leaving it rather dead, literally. I beleive they sought out people from other places to assist in rebuilding it, others would argue other reasons.

[it does sound like post-Armageddon Earth... though this doesn't resemble any place she's familiar with.]

We have never seen them. Sometimes they speak to us with these devices though.

They tell us very little, and months can go by without even hearing from them.

More than that, some of the residents have been here 2 or so years....

Ah! But, that's not to say it's all bad! Some people have made quite the home here, and some have nowhere else to return to. So... there are still good things to be had.

I'm not sure how anyone outside could help. Most people when returned, probably don't remember it here, and wouldn't have the ability to get back even if they did.

That would be the most likely case, yes. Sometimes people will return after vanishing, and they will remember being here before. But usually, people don't remember at all.
