[once Abel was asleep in their apartment at the Gohl, Lilith was near silently slipping out and into the empty corridors... beyond the building, and towards the church. there is a man she hopes to see... and a sense of balance she hopes to re-establish in a place of worship that's sorely missed

[He'd been doing his normal patrol of the city. Surprised at how quiet the night was. It was almost enough to have him missing the streets of New York a little more.

Almost.

He did manage to spot the familiar red-hair. She seemed alright and outwardly calm. Which was a pretty great relief.]

[and alright she was - aside from a few scratches on her throat, some bruised ribs and a nasty black-and-blue on her cheek where Sai had kicked her, she's surprisingly well-off for someone left that that child's mercy. is that a relief, Leo? <3

she's a bit preoccupied... it seems she hasn't noticed him yet as she continues on her path towards the church.]

[All things considered, that was pretty close to alright. He watches her a moment before debating if he should show himself. This place was really messing up his whole ninja thing.

With a quick flip he's on the ground, making sure she hears him walking up to her.]

[she tilts her head at the sound of footsteps - and then the sound of her name has her footsteps slowing and her turning to face him properly, a smile at her lips]

Leonardo. [it's obvious she's relieved to see him well and whole] Are you alright...?

Grumpy and adjusting...we've managed to keep the infection away so far.

Abel came, as expected. Sai wished for him to play his game by his rules... but it seemed it wasn't necessary. Perhaps we surprised him by refusing to hurt him...

I can't be certain. However, we managed to part ways peaceably with minimal violence.

[That was a relief. That no one had been hurt; why exactly that was Leo wasn't to worried about figuring out. Maybe he was just tired of how often people were hurt in this place.]

These games of his are getting worse and worse...

[He gave a wry amused smile. Leave it to a Priest to not want to hurt someone- and given Lilith demeanor, he figured she had a good hand in it too.]
