[The device turns on and reveals a dark haired young man who has long, dark lines under his eyes.  That wouldn’t be all that strange, but this man’s eyes are bright red with black marks in them that seem to be…spinning ( Read more... )

[ ALL THE THINGS HE SAID ALL THE THINGS HE SAID RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD, RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD, RUNNING THROUGH MY HEAD.

Sakura is completely fucking floored. Of all the people to come from home, it's him. ]

[ It's the man thing that ruined Sasuke's life.

So many emotions. On one hand, Sakura's immediate response is out of safety and love for both of her teammates. Naruto and Sasuke's lives are both endangered, and have the possibility of being totally damaged to the point of no return if they're dead, by this man's presence. ]

[ On the other hand, the politics of Konoha aren't liable here. If she does try to kill him, or at least fights him, people are going to notice and intervene. Not to mention, Sasuke did try to kill her. The contradiction that everything is starting to turn to because he's here leads Sakura to wonder which is the correct option. ]

[ Finally, he's trapped in Polychromatic. If he dies, that means he won't return. He won't be permanently dead, but he still dies at home anyways.

It's like no matter what she does here, it wouldn't impact anything but she can still try. At this point, she leans towards getting more information for both herself and Sasuke (information she's unaware that Sasuke already has). If then, the possibility of poisoning him pops up here and there, but she realizes it wouldn't do anything in the long run. ]

Kisame isn't here. Now, is your body temperature lower than normal? [ She needs to remain composed, above all things else, when it comes to Itachi. If she gets this piece of information, then she can make a more accurate strategy from there. ]

And why would my personal health be of interest to a medic nin from Konoha?

[Why hello there, former teammate of Sasuke's. Itachi is really wondering why you are here, commending on his message to Kisame. Clearly, this is not such a secure network.]

[Not that it really matters. There is no way that she could ever interfere with his plan.]

Because, people here end up injured just by arrival on itself, and, sometimes The City can be quite deadly. [ A half truth.

That is correct. Sasuke already knows everything. 8|a ]

Konoha doesn't exist here, none of the countries do. Attacking you, or killing you, would do more harm than good with how fickle these deities are about their city. Not to mention, death isn't permanent here either. [ She's remaining cold, and stern. ]

Death isn't permanent?

[Now he's pretty convinced that this girl has lost her mind completely.]

You're speaking nonsense.

I thought the same thing but it turned out to be true. If you have a lower blood temperature, or if your blood isn't flowing, you've died on the way here. [ Though, with this information she's able to peace together he's from a timeline or time where he's alive. ]

I can assure you, I was very much alive before arriving here.

[Close to death, yes, but he sure as hell wasn't going to die until Sasuke did it himself.]

Then be cautious, once you're revived in this town you can never return. [ Whatever she does, it'll just end the same anyways. If she trap Itachi here, it wouldn't matter since he does return to Sasuke, and retroactively changing the past in polychrome wouldn't affect the future? Would it? If Ino was here and yet she still talked about her boy problems, then it shouldn't affect too many people.

Or at least she thinks. No matter how confusing it got, Sakura could really only see one result. ]

It's almost as if you're concerned about my well being.

[But that is some interesting information. Thank you for that Sakura.]

For one reason or another yes.

[ She's not telling you it though. ]
