For anyone not keeping up with my facebook who is interested or bored here is an update on my chaotic and currently awesome life...
I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!
Thats the biggest thing recently. We had some electrical issues that were making me want to pull my hair out for about a week, but we straightened those all out when we finally figured out which light switch goes to which fixture it turned out we were (I was) worried over nothing. Now I am pretty confident that the house won't have any electrical fires in the immediate future.
Thanks to paranoia over potential electrical issues we put off moving until the very last minute, and didn't finish until 10:30PM on the last day we had the apartment. It all worked out thanks to a whole lotta help from some very good friends.
Now that we are actually living in the house, there are quite a few projects looming over our heads. Unpacking has been a much slower process than I am comfortable with (things like dishes and clothes and my work keys will not wait much longer).
I have been working ALOT which is ultimately awesome and pleasantly lucrative, though it doesn't leave me much time for the business of life. I don't know how I managed to keep up the energy in college with all that I did, now all I want to do when I finally get home is relax with a video game or TV.
My family life is both wonderful and turbulent. I have a beautiful new niece who fills my heart with joy every time I see her smile, but then there are the drama's that I would only put up with from family and even then my limits are being tested.
All in all life is better than I normally expect it to be which makes all the little complaints feel petty.
