Extra Texture: Florence Shrug
I started this 10 days ago - and......um.....damn...it's so boring!! LOL
I fell in love with this cardi/shrug from "Rowan Classic Art" and think it will be perfect for those cooler evenings in August. I didn't have any DK cotton so am using 2 strands of 4-ply mercerised cotton. It's very easy to knit, no shaping, just K1P1 rib but it's very tedious, fine while watching telly. I've had to transfer the knitting to circular needles (it's knitted flat) as the cotton is so heavy. I have to rib about 61cms straight then the stitches are doubled to 300sts and worked in K2P2 rib for another 21cms!!! The whole project suddenly seems very daunting.
And let's not forget about the sleeves.....
