Extra Texture: the new and the old.......
The New:
Tried to view the new Knitty Winter last night but I think their bandwidth got overloaded!! It's flying this morning!
First impressions - I like these......
Chevrolace socks.
Tudora neck wrap.
Quant head band.
Gloves can be deceiving.
I really like the gloves, especially as they are in Rowanspun 4-ply, which I have.
It's fab to see glove patterns with fingers. I do like fingerless mittens a lot but I love, love, love gloves.
The socks look interesting, the neck wrap practical and the head band just a fun knit.

The Old:
I was looking through some old knitting magazines and came across this - from Jaeger Handknits JM01 (1998).
I think it will look good in black and cream, which I have loads of in Forsell 4-ply.
I think it will look good a bit longer too....maybe a couple of inches....
Maybe I'll start it or maybe I'll wait until next year.
