James Cameron is a genius. There, I said it. It's out there, and I'm never taking it back. He can spend as much money as he wants on a movie as long as something as amazing as Avatar is the result. This will not be a review. There will not be spoilers. I just need to express my amazement at the near-perfection of this movie. Sure, it was quite predictable but I don't care. The visuals were absolutely astonishing and I swear I must've forgotten at some point that they weren't real. I couldn't imagine seeing it in something other than IMAX the first time. I think it would almost be an insult to the movie if you did. I walked out of the movie with Caitlin and was like, "this is all we got?" Also, really loved seeing Joel Moore in something other than Bones (which he is also great in). Just look at that movie! Technical masterpiece!
