Definitely a day to pick a song from Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós as the song of the day. And so I'm certainly going to pick one from my favorite album, ( ), but which one? I'm actually going to stray from what usually would have been my favorite track and choose "Untitled 3" as today's choice. It is one of the two songs from ( ) that is entirely instrumental and, therefore, feature none of Sigur Rós' signature Volenska (Hopelandic) language. Nevertheless, the sweeping crescendo of the song fronted by the simple, repetitive loop of the piano is very haunting.
