Dongiggidy dongeroo!
Item the first- This week at work has been interesting, see last friday one worker injured herself doing something kind of dumb ... injured herself more then I would have thought possible apparently, she's on workers comp for most of this month now which means we're down 1 of the 5 people needed to competently keep our main production line moving. Also, the last couple weeks have seen 2 workers leave to go to school , 1 was replaced. The other was meant to be replaced on monday, a girl had come in and I was responsible for training her to run our 'filler' (for those just joining this post from the slow bus , it's the machine that fills the bottles with water and screws caps on top of them). It's a really simple job that seems daunting for all of about 4 hours, at that point every one of the other 10 people I've trained on that thing over the years gets the hang of the basic operation and realizes it's a pretty dull job. Anyway, this girl wasn't much different she seemed to understand all the buttons and the basic operation of the machine so being that we were one short still I monitored her progress from 10 feet away while running our packaging machine and keeping an eye on the Labeller as it wasn't working so hot. The day goes by seemingly without a hitch and I see the new girl making her way towards the break room and tell her "That's good, you can go home now". Fast forward to yesterday morning, no new girl and no brand new person who was supposed to start yesterday... who I later found out was this girls mother. Apparently the girl went home after work on monday and was crying her heart out to her mother then I was "Rude, Impatient and didn't help her out enough" because of this the new girl would not be coming back and her mother wasn't going to work at arctic chiller either. I was kind of pissed off about this whole debacle almost all of my work day, my co-workers were joking about it though "Rhys, you're a great big meanie" stuff like that. The 'best' part of this is that the girl in question was none other then Jemma's sister, yeah the same Jemma that tormented Andrea and Lisa for their extended employment at Electronics beautique, and the same sister that's dating that useless tit that EB hired, Ian I think his name was. My honest 2 cents in hindsight are that she was just a dumb bitch who didn't want to work and after realizing work sucks she went home and cried to mommy. My speculative 2 cents are that the dumb bitch got herself knocked up by her moron of a boyfriend and was all hormonally retarded.
Item The second- With that out of the way, I have to say thanks to one Maffu A brown for recommending The movies as a decent PC game. Since I started playing on sunday I've logged 12 hours or so into it, the most I've played a game in well.. months probally. If you enjoy themepark/ simX/ Tycoon style games this ones not a whole lot different and just as entertainign if you like that sort of stuff.
Anyway, that about covers things I suppose. I've been meaning to keep up the Japan diary but I've been exceptionally lazy as well so yeah...
