Pat:

Do you have any indication that this is part of a tour? I tried to find any indication of a performance down here in Los Angeles, but nothing (when searching English-language words).

...ah, in case there's confusion--I'm talking about the p'ansori concert sponsored by the Korean Consulate, not the Dervishes.

So, I double-checked online (in Korean) for any other media publications of this tour... aside from the SF General Consulate's free-tix announcement, there's nothing in the media of any follow ups. =(

Mind you, I personally feel that because AN Suk-seon is such a huge name, seating is really limited to much of the elite in the diaspora, given how poorly marketing is distributed... my suggestion - call the Korean consulate in LA and see if they've got anything... =S

Thanks so much, Pat. For the size of the Korean community in Southern California, it's easy to think "oh, they _must_ have a concert in plan"--but, sometimes that just does not happen.

And yes, much like the big names in American-European entertainment, the tickets are likely to go in mere minutes.

Again, thanks.
