ahhhh so excited.
i got some new stuff for my bike too. it looks sweet now and it goes better. i wish i would have gotten one earlier but better now then never. im trying to get my brothers amped on the bike program since they dont drive. they seem pretty interested in it..mostly becuase they dont cost anywhere near what a car does...which is a plus for them. i dont blame them. its crazy because it hardly takes any time to get around hb. its freaking flat as a pancake and pretty condusive for cycling..i mean the bike lanes are pretty smooth for the most part and there are lots of them. i guess im just really excited because i finaly feel like i am doing something that reflects how i feel about the world i live in. Cycling offers so much more to the senses and makes you be more patient. It also provides a zero emmisions mode of transport. my horsepower is my own..and its such a great feeling. Im bummed that i cant cut out my driving completely..and im not gonna hate on people who drive because i understand that its not conveneint for many of em. I just feel that everything else in this freaking country is so convinient that i can spare a few of them. my biggest hang up is surfing...or just getting to the beach. i can ride with a shortboard..but im not nearly strong enough to do it with my longboard..so i am left with using my car. which is ok for me, for now. im just rambling now and i have errands to run.
