Engineering Expo / Robot Battle!

The Engineering Expo at Sacramento State University, California will be held from noon to 6pm on Sunday, February 18th, 2007. The event is FREE for all ages and parking will be provided. The headline event of the Engineering Expo is the “Smackdown in Sactown III”, a national tournament of battling robots for the Hornet Trophy. The “Smackdown in Sactown III” will feature competitions in the one pound and 150 gram weight classes. Other attractions include displays and activities showcasing student projects, engineering organizations, and robotics technology in action.

* A student-built Formula SAE race car
* Two student-built submersible robots
