To me, it feels, no.. it -is- part of a legacy of our generation has died. Some of us may have not been fans-but everyone has heard of them. We all know who they are, we all knew who he was.
losing any member of slipknot is like losing a vital organ. the body will probably die without it. on top of his death, this also compounds my sadness. the death of paul will most likely mean the death of slipknot. and as much as it pains me to say it, it'd be for the best. you can't replace paul, you can't replace any of them. I wholeheartedly agree with you.
I haven't played Snuff since I found out... And I don't know if I can now.. just.. knowing.
For what its worth, you're in my thoughts, along with the first of the fans and his family and friends...
He left his mark on the artistic world through music, and its up to us to keep moving it forward--for what sense you can make of that(trying to make some sense.. beat x.x). They leave these pieces of themselves in the music we listen to. They inspire us, and its up to us to inspire the next generation with our talents.
