Its been another month since I've updated last ... it actually took me about 5 minutes to figure out how to write a new entry instead of just viewing other entries.
I suppose the big news is that I've just turned 23 which is I suppose is as weird as knowing that this is 2006 or that I've been out of college for over a year now. Perhaps later I'll write another entry contemplating about how my live as changed since then and where I want it to go from here but not now.
To celebrate it we went to (could be called tradition?) Cafe Japone and sang karoke. I did Dirty Diana (which I didn't do justice to) and helped out in Cecilia. Dollars were spent, drinks consumed and I eventually ended up at a rooftop party where everybody else basically spoke Spanish. There might be a house party later this month to celebrate the 3 roommate bdays who are around this time.
Besides the my age changing, there has been a lot change around me ... friends have been getting new jobs, people are moving into DC, I'm no longer the newest person by 3 years at my work we've gotten a bunch of interns and a couple of new employees. And also summer has arrived. These changes are all good if great as far as I can tell, and I've been enjoying the beautiful warm weather. I still need to go to the pool and the beach and maybe a road trip to make it officially summer.
Currently my car has died but this weeekend me and my roommate are going to try to fix the alternator. We bought a new one off the internet and are going to try to install it ourselves. Hopefully this will be successful and I'll be able to travel around the dc area with ease once again.
