A follow-up to the life of Pablo Cruise...
1) I graduated from California State University Dominguez Hills just recently in May with a BS in Management. Future plans include drawing more, writing more, and studying up to become a real estate broker by the end of this year.
2) My dearly beloved Annie-chan and I are set to celebrate our 16 month anniversary on Tuesday the 26th. ...Though I'm probably going to be busy that day and she's stuck staying at home babysitting her cousins and kid sister. Maybe during the Expo we can do something...?
3) I will be attending Anime Expo '07 this year at the Long Beach Convention Center. I'll try to go all four days or as many of the days as possible, despite the fact that I'll only really have enough cosplay ideas for three days. My choices of cosplay this year include the following...
- Isshin Kurosaki (a.k.a. Ichigo's dad), freelance doctor's outfit from BLEACH
- Isshin Kurosaki (a.k.a. Ichigo's dad), special spoiler edition, from BLEACH (if you know BLEACH but don't know this version of him by now, you'll be quite surprised indeed...)
- Gen Takekura a.k.a. MUSASHI from Eyeshield #21, carpenter guy outfit
Other notable mentions include Kaze Daezaemon from GANTZ and Auron from Final Fantasy X, X-2, and Kingdom Hearts 2. I say notable mentions since I never got around to gathering the materials needed to cosplay as these guys.
To tell you all the truth, I'm only doing those first 3 listed since they're fairly simple to pull off (just normal everyday wear from Isshin and Musashi, mostly).
Anyone out there that's also going to the Expo, drop me a line on this here thread and we'll figure out a convenient meeting place. See you all there, if you're going!
