I saw Bunyi, Marissa, and Kat, as well as Ms. Cristine Villaneuva who was working at the Digital Manga booth like she said she would be. It was fun +1000.
Unfortunately, my camera decided to screw around with me and caused some of my photos to blur up or mess up entirely. Shit. Hopefully Bunyi or Marissa or Cristine puts up the group picture that we took since I either didn't take one or mine got deleted along with a few others.
But, I still have plently of random cosplyer snapshots I have yet to upload but I did manage to put up a few of me in my costume and one of my elusive girlfriend. Thing is, I took these pictures before the expo and a bit afterwards.
Meh, everything is explained behind the cut.
A picture of me that I took at home before the Expo. A bit blurry since my camera decided to be evil on me, but it turned out all right somewhat. I guess. I'm cosplaying as a random shinigami from the anime 'Bleach'. Actually, I made up my own character bio and am working to draw myself in the style of Bleach. When that picture will be done is unknown even to myself but when I'm done, I'll put it up.
Fear the name of Piita Kuryuusu!
Me and my weapons o' death and destruction! Unfortunately, they ARE real dragon blades so I couldn't bring them to the Expo for real. But, oh well. Again, kinda blurry no thanks to my dumb camera...
Another thing to point out to those that are well-versed in the Bleach 'verse, I'm not wearing any gloves when I'm wielding my weapons. That's because my gloves turn into my weapons, as per my character idea. The gloves themselves are the sealed form of my soul cutter and the blades are the released form (a.k.a. my shikai). Haven't figured out what my Bankai would be but when I figure it out, I'll put it down somewhere for those that care.
Action pose!
A picture of my girlfriend dressed up as Bleach's lovable 11th Division Vice-Captain Yachiru Kusajishi. Unfortunately, she and I share the same curse of being rather un-photogenic so many of our snapshots never turn out as good as we hope it would. Yeah, she seems pissed since I took this one just before we were about to leave; I just realized that I never got a chance to take a decent picture of her by herself the time we were there. So, yeah.
I love you, Annie!
