Had the research methods test yesterday, which went really well, except for me making the most stupidly obvious mistake in one of the questions. What do you know, it appears that studying for three days solid actually has a massive effect on what you know. Who would have thought???
We all went out afterwards for few drinks. Somehow those few drinks turned into a all night out in the dodgiest bar in London. Half of the people there looked like they were drug dealers. I don't think I've ever seen so many strange/crazy/eccentric looking individuals in one place. There was this one guy about 50 or 60 years old, looking a bit like a poor man's version of Sean Connery, throwing moves on the dance floor, to R&B, non-stop, until 3 in the morning. I'm at least 20 years younger than him, I was getting tired and he just kept going. It was brilliant to watch. I hope I could be like him when I get old: just turn up at some dodgy bar and dance the night away with a crowd half my age.
However, seeing how tired I am today after getting to bed at 4am I really doubt I'll be able to do that at 60. Sitting in the library, trying to study, it just feels like I'm underwater. Everything feels sort of hazy and in slow motion.
