Reasons to watch SS501's KM Idol World
Giving up on watching Kim Sam Soon on aznv.tv (since I can't seem to find the attention span to read the instructions) in order put together this capspam for Wiw

(bb, look, I now have a tag for you haha), who I am suckering into K-pop asked me to :))) I only really have caps from eps 4 to 6 plus some I leached off somewhere eons ago, as those were the only ones available in dbskipod , but the rest are up on streaming (and they're part of my forever-watched Youtube playlist :p) OKKK that was a lot of parenthesis-tized comments. Onto the stuff~
Part 1: Know thy members
Because I knowknowknow you're still finding Korean names difficult to fathom (though I assure you, after memorizing names like Kamenashi Kazuya, it will be doable), let's run through the easy-to-remember names and little mnemonics to guide us through watching SS501 vids. :D
Leader
Kim HyunJoong (June 6, 1986)
Yeah, you know this kid. :p That guy from Boys Over Flowers haha. I toldddd you you couldn't stick with calling him "Kim" forever, since there are, like 10 billion Kims in the K-entertainment industry. I look forward to insiduously pimping the others to you in the future. *cough* Since he's with the members, let's stick with calling him Leader, but when you're ready, his name is really HyunJoong xD
JungminPark Jungmin (April 3, 1987)
See, I even included a horse in the picture to make it easier to remember :D (Aren't I a great pimper? xp) So yeah, this is Jungmin/Horse. The diva/drama queen who'll randomly enact something as it strikes him. 100% entertainment value right hurr.

Kim Kyujong (February 24, 1987)
He gets a heart beside his name because he's a sweetiepie. See how he's the one who makes them udon in the first ep and how they can't say anything bad about him even if they try? And well... I just really want to show this picture again. xD

Yeah, don't pay attention to him looking cool in that picture, he's really a giant baby xD (Fine, he looks very manly w/e these days.) The youngest and the subject of Jungmin's abuse 90% of the time. MinJoon bickering is, like, the cornerstone of SS501 Idol World. Haha
Youngsaeng
Heo Youngsaeng (November 3, 1986)
The one who plays the girl role in all their crack plays lol. He's usually pretty quiet, but is really a camwhore really lets it rip when he feels like it :)
So that's that for the members (it was just a quick intro, I didn't want to do an entire pimp post xD). As for the show, it pretty much makes them do missions to see how far they'd go to embarrass themselves to help them improve their Japanese since they've branched out to Japan. Jungmin is the best at Japanese since he purportedly disappears at night when they're in Japan to practice the language at karaoke lounges lol. I'd say Kyu'd come in second, but that's just me :)
They've split into two groups -- the MinJoon Team, with Baby and Jungmin bickering forever and being poor since they lost the first challenge lol and the Blue Dragon Team, with Kyu, Leader and Youngsaeng, who are rolling in dough since they won haha. They're competing so they won't get the suckiest role in the mini-drama they're making at the end of the missions.
Part 2: Capspam Proper
Reason to watch#1: To keep alive the fangirl hope
Yeah, it makes you hope that one day, as you're innocently going home on the train, a random idol will you give you their autograph and perform a short song in exchange for a drink. You will be accordingly overcome with emotion (see above).
Reason to watch#2: To appreciate that it is hard work being an idol
+Keeping up aesthetics
The Wisdom of Kim Hyun Joong: "If you show an oily face on TV, you die." -- Pay attention, star wannabes.

+Filming despite inclement weather (yay, I finally got to use that word xD)
(lol @ Jungmin railing against the producers on national television xD)
+ Missing things from the motherland. Aw.
Reason #3: To see what idols are like when asked to walk through a cemetery
(1st row L-R) Jungmin freaked out; this vid must be watched just to see how different his high-pitched scream is from his deep singing voice. Hyunjoong laughing and mocking.
(2nd row L-R) Baby totally freaked out, even trees made him jump, poor kid. Youngsaeng spotting danger early and generally being meh. Haha. No Kyu :(
Reason to watch #4: Park Jungmin. Period. (this is a reason to watch ANY SS501 vid, really)
+The boy keeps appearing on TV in a bathrobe. Even when everyone else if fully dressed lol
Diva in the house, yo. Kyu's and Baby's reactions:
+ He keeps selling things for 120 yen. LOL IDK random (Did you, by any chance, get this from all those karaoke lounges, Jungmin??)
+ Makes us scenarios on the spot. Delusional.
"Right now, I'm in Canada where I'm studying abroad. My English has gotten better. [eng]Hello! How are you?[end of eng] Is it awkward?" lol and he goes on to say that he has a view of the Alps. IN CANADA. And the hotel is the home he bought from the money he made from part-time jobs. Oh Jungmin.

Reason #5: MinJoon love-hate and... IDK how to describe it anymore
+ Baby is always bullied. Fact. Especially by Jungmin.
(This is ep 2-3 when they were pulling a prank on Baby and being uncooperative but they really just had a surprise for his birthday.♥ Jungmin's telling the camera that Baby's close to tears. haha)
+General violence
+ Bickering on the train
(Jungmin leaves Baby on the train while Baby's sleeping. His own teammate! Haha.)
And I don't have a cap of it but like there were schoolgirls who came on the train and sat down next to Hyungjoon and Jungmin's like "Oh, just what HJ wanted! Girls!" or something. Well, I don't remember if he said it in Korean so maybe the girls didn't understand... Then he makes friends with the girls and says (referring to Baby) "He's a big star!" lol mortifying

+ Ripping off each other's socks (to determine who would get the worst role) lol IDK OK.
Baby wins at ripping off Jungmin's SpongeBob socks. Haha. And rejoices by saying a line from 300? SPARTAAAAA~

LMFAOOOOO OK. Leader and Kyu reenact a Korean man jumping onstage at a Michael Jackson concert. I never knew about this so I was so surprised and UGH, CRACKED ME UP SO BAD. IDEK.
Jungmin reenacting a historical drama with his upturned umbrella. Also seen communicating with aliens. :p
+ Realizing gheiness
Reason #7: To give in to creeper tendencies and see where they live
+ Leader and Kyu share a room, same as in Korea (as seen in Thanks for Waking Me Up). Though no longer share a bed like they used to; you be the judge if Japan is a step-up or a downer lol. Jungmin says, "One is always loud like this and the other is looking at strange things in the computer." He says further, "Kyujong always turns off the light and goes on the computer." lol what are you implying, Jungmin??
+Youngsaeng and Baby share another. (Is it just me or do idols seem to have more stuffed animals than the average male? Or female, for that matter.) They caught Baby on the computer and Jungmin says something like "Oh, we can't show things like that on TV. Ah, our Hyungjoon is finally an adult." lol (It was just an Usher vid :p)
+Bathroom, anyone?
+No one wants to share a room with Jungmin lol. (Though according to an ep of We Got Married, he has a karaoke machine for a roommate. Haha)

Well, promises of it, anyway. Enough to tickle the mind? And some blurring of the screen that indicates more than tickling. ^^

There were so many things I wish I could gif but alas, no. And I still need to fully learn how to work the Quainte threads so I can't leech take from there. xD Anyway, there were more more more fun stuff in SS501's KM Idol World cuts, I just don't have the vids. Episode Seven (the last) is actually a pretty good recap. If you can find it anywhere, it would be good to see :) I love how the boys are so candid and they seem so familiar with the staff and production... I mean, they get away with saying stuff like Idol World is pretty low budget (HyunJoong laughs at the staff using a flashlight as his 'spotlight' at one point haha) but it's ok, since they're low budget people, really, and please keep having them on the show. xD AH BOYS. So excited for the promos for the new album~♥
