Winter Olympics 2010

To tell you the truth, I've never actually been very into the Olympics. I don't remember the last Olympics very well, but I'm pretty sure I'll remember these Olympics. I actually watched it this year for various reasons. I had nothing "better" to do, there was nothing better to watch, it was actually interesting, and ... it was in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. Previously, this past summer, my family and I had gone to the very place the Olympics were held. Er...going to be held anyway. They were still in the process of building everything, but they had merchandise in the doors. I am sooo mad that I wasn't able to buy a giant Quatchi plushie or a Miga plushie. My aunt had bought an Olympics jacket thing, but it was much too small to fit me. Anyway, not only was it in Vancouver where we went for a vacation, it was in Whislter Mountain where .. I was made. (sorry sorry D:) So, technically I was made in Canada. Woo ~

I've always loved Canada...I think. Recently, I've been wanting to live there or at least study there. Now, I want to more than ever. I'm very mad and sad that I wasn't able to actually be there during the Olympics. Both the Opening and Closing ceremonies were fantastic and enjoyable and would probably have a bigger effect if I was actually there. Same with the big hockey game.

I was torn between Canada and America. I love both countries..Canada more than America actually. But, the USA is my homeland. Born and raised! Even if I was made in Canada, that doesn't really count and I can't really go around "Hey, I was technically made in Canada!" and..explain what that means. Ah, I feel like I'm in a tight spot and I wans't really sure who to root for during the big Hockey game between Canada and America. I'm glad Canada won though. It's their sport, but it would also be really funny if America won instead.

Anyway, I've decided to move to Canada when I graduate.
