oooh oooh oooh i have a huge favor to ask you!! i've been dying to find someone to translate a subaru video clip! are you familiar with manzai? i think it's a japanese form of talk show? subaru and hina did a short manzai in this clip http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCcIUXm5Cw0, but i can only make out some individual words here and there since i've only started to learn japanese. subaru is my favorite kanjani boy, so i've been wanting to understand this manzai clip forever but so far no one has been able to translate it. guess it's a little hard to do since it's manzai/comedy? it would be soooo awesome if you could translate a few lines! i feel bad for asking you to do this in my first post here but since it's subaru's bday i'm sure other baru fans would really really appreciate the translation too :) so if you could! onegaishimasu!
ps. thanks so much paaaaan for offering to do this, your the only japanese kanjani fan i know so far with an english blog lol! wish more japanese fans could also start writing in english! ^0^

Haha am I familiar with manzai? I LOVE em, haha. Especially those that Yasu/Maru and Hina/Subaru do. I'll definitely translate this for you. I'll post either before work today (right now as I get ready) or after I come back. I shall do it for all the Baru fans out there for his b-day!

oh really?? i haven't seen the yasu/maru ones. i love manzai too! even tho half the time i don't understand them lol! do you have any particular favorite manzai performers? i understand they always come in pairs? so everyone must have their own favorite pairing? kanjani is so freakin awesome for doing comedy shows other than singing and dancing. they seem to have a knack for making people laugh. :) thanks for posting the translations out so fast! and do you mind if i friend you also? you sound like a very cool person so having you on my LJ friend list is a must! :D

Oh you should definitely see the Yasu/Maru ones. Their manzai name is "Yamada," taking the "Yama" from Maruyama and "Da" from Yasuda. They're adorable. I like the one they did on the EXCITE DVD and another one they did on Shounen Club when they had a East vs. West manzai battle with KAT-TUN's Nakamaru and Koki. I don't have particular manzai performers I like, but in general it's really fun to watch. The western side of Japan is so funny :D Please feel free to add me to your friend... I still don't exactly know what that function does, though lol

ohmegosh a east vs. west manzai battle, that sounds absolutely to dye for!!! :D i'm sure those east side boys are just no match for our kansai darlings when it comes to proving who is funnier! *^^* hehe gonna have to go hunt that video down, and watch it pronto! hm, the friend list function, i'm not too sure of any special functions that it does, it's not gonna give any extra privileges or anything to the people on your list. the only reason i am making a friend list is that it adds some convenience to keeping myself updated on my friends' new posts since once i have them added to my friend list, their new journal entries will all be shown together on my "View my Friends Page". if you scroll up, you will see on the upper right hand corner of your journal above your profile icon, a string of links that says[entries|archive|friends|userinfo], click on the third link "friends" and it will bring you to a list of recently added journal entries from only those whom you have added as friends. this way you will see all at once what all your friends have written rather than you having to remember to go check their journals individually. in addition to their entires however, your friends page will show fresh entries from your communities as well. like the kanjani8 community you and i are both in now, for example. journal entries that people make in any other communities that you have joined will show up on there as well i think. so yeah, in that respect it's so totally like a stalker feature haha! XD it's prolly also got other cool functions too which i am not aware of yet, so others might be able to answer that and fill in on what i missed. anyway hope all this babbling helped :)
