I'm still just trying to copy/paste all the things I've posted on other communities but not on this paaaaan site. This is just for my organization purposes, so bare with me! It's actually fun reading things I've written in the past though, haha. Most of this is informative stuff that is very old news by now. I won't copy/paste a few of the smaller and/or useless (now) posts.

Yoko's hairstyle & Bicycle Drama
On the most recent "behind-the-scenes" entry on the Suka-J site, they said that Yoko has cut his hair EXTREMELY short... maybe like Koki's??? I don't know how you say スポーツ刈り in English, but it's like cropped hair?? I heard it's black, too. He said it's for the job he has in two weeks or so. I wonder how it looks! [Edit] I heard Yoko's gonna be in Ninomiya's drama, and he's acting as a 19-year old guy learning to become a (I forgot). I guess that's why!
Since Suka-J and Yasu/Maru's Bicycle drama is on the same channel, they always have updates and promos. On the same entry as the Yoko's new hairstyle episode, they mentioned how they went to watch the special premiere of the drama. They said that writers from all around the country came to watch it and actually applauded at the end! They say that's a very rare occasion!
According to the Suka-J staff, the drama is so good because there aren't any super heroes that succeed in the end or characters that are very sick or big mysteries to be solved etc., you know, those typical plot lines. It gets to your heart because the story's so down-to-earth and it can happen anywhere. Yasu and Maru's natural acting and their real friendship created a heart-warming atmosphere, too.
Also, at the press conference following the premiere, Maru was super nervous and Yasu looked more reliable, they said. Everytime someone asked them a question, all four of them (Yasu, Maru and the two girls) stood up and said "Thank you very much!" Haha, they say that this is a rare thing, too.
Here are some things from the press conference (all from the same Suka-J site entry):
Q. What was the toughest scene to shoot?
Yasu: The bicycle goes at a speed of 30km/hr on normal ground, but when I had to go down hill, it went up to 100km/hr!! It was scary going down the hill because there was a small camera attached to my bicycle to shoot my face, but it was about to fall off and I had to adjust my angle and all that.
Maru: I don't smoke but my character had to in the drama so I tried... it was a red Marbolo (I guess it's a strong kind? I don't know, I don't smoke either) and that was very tough.
Q. In the drama, both of you like the same girl but one of you takes a step back... will you do that in real life, too?
Both: NO, we will NOT let the other guy take her!!!! (laughs)
Q. Did you find out something new about each other?
Yasu: Well, (since we've been friends for so long) we have perfect timing. When it seems that the other needs his time alone, he lets him have it.
Maru: I realized once again that Yasu is an amazing person. His ability to concentrate is unbelievable!!
Can't wait for 11/23!!! :-)

OSAKA DOME CONCERT SET LIST
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN. I'm too tired to write everything so I'll just write down the song list from tonight's show. It was like a mixture of all the cons (especially the latest) that K8 has done so far and it was very well structured. It went on for exactly three hours. Eito Ranger was super long and HILARIOUS & ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. We got to see Baru's butt, too... hahaha
Anyway...
(Before the show)
- There was a commercial that said that they're going to have a DVD for the three dramas (Dive, Double, Kemarishi), including some behind-the-scenes things!
- Usually there are announcements saying "Don't do this, don't do that," before the concert... this time, guess who told us what not to do?! YES, THE SEVEN OKANS. Shoko was SOOOOOO CUTE. MY GOD.

Yoko talked about how he missed a recent Honjani filming (baseball) because he was really sick. He emailed the guys at like 5:30am to show that he wasn't lying (lol) and that he's really sick. Ohkura replied, then Hina, Maru, Yasu, Baru... everyone said "Don't worry, get well soon!" and Yoko was very touched. He was waiting for one more person, but he figured after he slept a few more hours and wake up, he'd have an email... but, after sleeping for 3, 4 hours, he still hadn't gotten anything from that one person. He was sad, but later on, a staff member told him that Mr. Nishikido didn't send him a reply because he'd feel bad that Yoko would have to reply to that message. Yoko finished up by saying "You guys were the most effective medicine!" and everyone was like YOU JUST WANTED TO SAY THAT!! Hahaha.
I have many things to write, but I'm just too tired and I have another show tomorrow morning, so I'll stop here!!

A good story from the Mucha-Buri diary
Mucha-buri occasionally updates a section on their website called "Loca(tion) Diary" which writes a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff about the boys from the staff point of view. They used to do it for Suka-J, too. I wish they update it more often because it's really fun to read, but I guess they're busy too!
On the most recent one (May 14), it wrote something really nice about the boys so I will translate it here. The staff members are always impressed at the boys because they always work hard even when they're unbelievably tired.
Here goes (last part of the entire entry):
In the "dressing room" of the TV station...
Usually when we film this show, we have all the guys (K8) and staff members gather and have a little meeting before going into the studio.
...One day before filming.
As always, the guys were going over their scripts and the overall flow of the show with the Director.
After the meeting, the AD (Assistant Director) raised his voice to say, "Okay, we're on in a few!"
Usually, the guys will become very hyper after this voice but this day, they seem to be a bit quiet.
...Hmm? Are they a bit tired? ...Well, it is understandable since their 4-day concert in Yokohama had just ended.
...Now that I think about it, Nishikido's cheeks look a lot hollower than usual; Ohkura's skin is showing some fatigue; Yasuda and Shibutani were sharing Vitamins together in the dressing room; Murakami seemed to have caught a cold so the manager was making an appointment for a shot...
Hmm, are they okay? ...There was a moment of silence, but then.
"Okay, let's do this!!" The first to stand up was Murakami.
Without leaving any space,
"...Yeah, let's go!" (Maruyama)
"Yossha!" (Nishikido)
All the guys stood up at once, and
marched into the studio.
...and Murakami.
Patting on a staff member's shoulder, he said, "You gotta be spirited at times like this!!"
...I wonder if he's telling that to himself.
...Come to think of it, I've never ever heard any of the guys whine, bitch or complain that they need to rest.
Awwww, right? :-)
By the way, speaking of MuchaBuri...
In 8-meets (one of the regular columns they have on one of the TV magazines... Pia? Life? I forgot which one) they had a long interview talking about pets. One question was "What do you want as a pet?" Most of them answered toy-poodle, Hina said he didn't want anything, Shota said something about an elephant turtle???? I forgot what it was. I guess it's something difficult to have as a pet.
Anyway, guess what Maru said? ......yeah, he said "I want Yasu as my pet. I'm with him all the time these days. I love him. I kiss him a lot, on the cheek ...isn't that like a pet?" This interview went on after they filmed the Maru/Ohkura pet episode of Muchaburi. They also talked about how if they were pets, who would you want as your master, choosing from the seven. Most answered Shota and Yoko, since they're nice to animals. Maru said Hina, because he thinks Hina would be nicer to animals than to human, hahaha.

Maru on Asahi Newspaper!!
Maru had a huge article about him on the afternoon edition of Asahi Newspaper 6/22 with a huge picture of him!! It talked about how he's working with Nanko, Peeco etc. on Tsuukai and that he's introducing things from the Showa era; the article also mentions how he started his life in show biz, how he wants to do more acting, etc. It was a nice article and nice to get the "spotlight"!!!

2007 First Half Single Hit Ranking, #5 Kanfuu, #12 ZOM!
I'm not really the one that care much about how many CDs were sold, how high it ranked, etc. but I thought I'd share this
good news
that Kanfuu Fighting was #5 and ZOM was #12 in this year's first half single hit rankings!
Kanfuu sold 339,734 copies (I don't know if this includes the ones sold in the latter half of December) and ZOM sold 231,328. Other Johnny's groups ranked #3 & #15 (Arashi), #7 (NewS), #9 & #20 (KAT-TUN), #13 (Kinki Kids), #22 (V6), #24 & #25 (Tegomasu) and #27 (Endlicheri) so I'd say #5 and #12 are very respectable numbers!! Yay boys!!

Some notes from the Fukuoka con (9/17)
I didn't go to the Fukuoka concerts, haha, but from what I've gathered...:
- They did Shota's surprise B-day party during the second show of Fukuoka. I went to both shows in Kagoshima (currently working on the reports... not finishing anytime soon though, haha) but they only slightly mentioned his b-day. Yoko said that if they did it in Kagoshima, it would have been too obvious and Shota would have probably guessed it coming, so they did it in Fukuoka instead. Damn it, lol. Although it makes sense because they would have more time in Fukuoka rather than Kagoshima. They had to move to Fukuoka after Kagoshima.
- The guys gave Shota a 9-liter (!!) bottle of his favorite champagne. Apparently it was about the size of Shota himself (haha, a bit of an exaggeration here). They took pictures so they'll be on the official photobook :-) Also they put Shota's face in the cake after he blew out the candles, haha.
- At the very end, Yoko said "I'm saying this for the first time! I'll be in a drama! Check out the newspapers tomorrow! I'm going to get yelled at (because I wasn't supposed to say this yet)!! Haha!" So it has officially been confirmed (finally) by Yoko himself, haha.
It was unfortunate that I wasn't able to attend the concert where they actually celebrated Shota's birthday, but it's alright because the concerts in Kagoshima were really, really fun. I have finished the reports but have not written the Ranger/MC yet (the parts where it takes the most time, lol) but I'll work on the rest sometime else. I have work tomorrow!
With the two shows completed in Fukuoka today, they have officially finished 46 prefectures and 109 shows. WOW. This seriously is an amazing feat. They should be proud. Only one more prefecture and four shows to go... ganbatte, boys!!

[Concert] Update from 9/29 18:00 Okinawa Show, #112 of 113
The final show #113 is almost over (Sunday 14:30 now over here in Japan), but since I went to #112 yesterday and have just come back from Okinawa, I will jot down a few notes before I work on my report... (I don't know when that will happen but eventually, haha)
47-Prefecture Tour OKINAWA 9/29/07 @18:00
- Subaru and Shota were freakishly dark-skinned. They've had two days off together and obviously had a lot of fun in the sun.
- Subaru showed his ass (+crack) at the end of Encore 3. His tan line was obvious, and his butt was extremely pale compared to his upper body.
- Ryo joined the two during one of their days off and the three went scuba diving. Subaru at first was complaining he didn't want to do it but eventually tried and had a lot of fun.
- Subaru's boon boon to Shota during ZOM was the WORST I've seen throughout this tour, lol. This time he didn't put Shota in his skirt at all. Instead, he kept on holding the back of Shota's head and thrusted into his mouth. Even if Shota broke for air, Subaru would pull him back up and do it all over again.
- Ohkura did a hip roll boon boon to Shota. He also did some boon boon to Shota during Kanfuu Fighting. Ohkura was on total crack the entire evening. He was crazy.
- When Shota was saying the greetings during Sukiyanen, Hina and Ohkura, who were on either side of Shota, kept on touching his crotch and butt.
- Solos were Subaru BAND (sang Mongol800's song), Yoko (did the song topless), Shota (he had everyone in the crowd sing Watashi Kagami together since it was the last time he'd play it during this tour) and Maru (crazy hyper as usual, haha)
- Instead of Itsuka, Mata, they played "Shimanchu nu Takara" by BEGIN, an Okinawa song. It was really nice.
- Eight Ranger shuffled AGAIN. Ryo did Blue; Shota did Green; Ohkura did Yellow; Maru did Nasu; Hina did Black; Yoko did Red; Subaru did Orange. Ohkura kept on trying to act all cool because he's Yellow. Maru just kept on saying "Nandeyanen" and totally destroyed the mannequin at the end with a flying jump kick, lol. Yoko sang Red's song! Subaru was a weird Orange, haha.
- EDIT: TOTALLY FORGOT TO MENTION THAT SUBARU AND RYO REALLY KISSED THIS TIME (INSTEAD OF JUST PRETENDING) DURING EDEN.
Okinawa was like 31C, but when I came back to Kobe, it was raining and 19C. I heard Tokyo was 16C. I was totally wearing a t-shirt, shorts and sandals so I felt so out of place on my way home from the airport, haha. Oh well.
I'll write up a report sometime... soon!

[New Series] "Shiawase Gokko" by Shota
Shota has started his new series called "Shiawase Gokko" (= the Happiness Game) on Bessatsu Friend, which is the big monthly comic book that used to have the K8 comic series (it ended two months ago). This month, since it was his first time and all, they had one page that had colored pictures of him and his message to the readers, then two non-colored pages that had his "Fashion" side and "Love" side. I'll share a few pictures I took on my cell phone so that you'll get the idea.
On his "Fashion" side, he coordinated two sets of outfits that had a summer taste but used autumn colors. Unfortunately, the pages were non-colored (which is very dumb for a topic like this) so it was extremely hard to imagine how his coordinations turned out to be like just by reading what color the shirts, skirts, and boots were. But, the two coordinations he did looked extremely fashionable and nice! He dressed up a female mannequin (just the neck and under). I wish after a few times they would start publishing books and that they'd show all these photos in color!
On his "Love" side, since they hadn't received any letters from the fans yet, he went on to talk about three things that he sees in a girl. The "#1-must" (in his words) condition he brought up is that the girl should do the job that she's asked for. #2 is that he wants the girl to cook for him, and #3 he wants the girl to be able to consider the other guy's feelings when they're in front of others. He said he doesn't fall in love at first sight. He sees many cute girls, but he usually likes girls that he can be calm and relaxed with, instead of an "I like you! Like you! LIKE YOU!" kind of relationship (don't blame me if this doesn't make sense... I'm just translating what he said!).
On that same page, he added his own touch and taste on a t-shirt. He used a green-colored (his absolutely favorite color, he said) spray paint to redesign the shirt. Since it was his first remake of a shirt after becoming 23, he put his name and birthday on the shirt as well (of course you can't see it on this magazine because the thing is not in color and the pic is too small!!)
Anyway, he'll start talking with the K8 boys in the following series, so I'm looking forward to what he's got in store for the next few months!

As of now, I don't think I'm going to post anymore updates on the kanjani8 community because I am not sure as to what is/is not allowed... and I don't want to cause people trouble and post things that I am not allowed to. Honestly I haven't read all of the posts/comments that have been posted regarding the new community situation, so I'm just going to wait until results come up. So for now, I think I'm only going to post here or to a few of the smaller communities!
