TOUR 2007 OSAKA (September 1st, 17:30; September 2nd, 12:00 & 16:30)
Note: Show 1 = 9/1 17:30, Show 2 = 9/2 12:00, Show 3 = 9/2 16:30
For the first show, we took the taxi to Osaka-Jo Hall. When I told the driver to go to Osaka-Jo Hall, he asked me, “Oh, you’re going to see Seki-Jani?” Haha, close, old man, close… He had like a master schedule sheet of the area that listed all the events going on in Osaka. At least he had the event for Osaka-Jo Hall memorized! There were many foreigners in Osaka that weekend because of the track and field tourney.
We went to see the Osaka Castle since we had time after getting goods and before the concert (the goods line went quickly since we went while the first show was going on). There were so many tourists (non-Japanese) so we didn’t feel too out of place! Haha, I don’t know why I should feel out of place in the first place; I’m 100% Japanese!
Anyway, to recap the weekend, I went to the last three shows in Osaka. For the first night I had the front row stands that I miraculously got under my name… it’s probably the first and only time I’d ever be able to pull off something like that!! It was on Shota’s side, too!!
For Show 2, our seat was 21st row in the stands, on Maru’s side but we got to see it from the front. Show 1 was looking at the main stage from the back-side (we were just around the corner so the stage was extremely close to the seat) and Show 3 was exactly at the side, Shota’s side again <3
Opening - In Show 1, Yoko popped up right in front of us. My mom watched with me and she just couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful Yoko’s skin was. Yoko walked by so often when I was in row 1. After Yoko, Ohkura, Maru (acting real bad-assed) and Ryo followed.
Zukkoke Otokomichi - Shota got love from both Ohkura and Subaru. When the boys are gathered in the middle while Subaru sings his solo part, Ohkura just brings his crotch to Shota’s face and they both do the boon boon. In Show 2, my seat had the front view so I was able to see some major Ohyass boon boon. Even more major was Subaru’s boon boon. For Shows 1 and 3, I had a good view of the Subaru/Shota side and wow, Subaru’s boon boons are getting longer and nastier, haha. Show 3 was especially bad. He kept on thrusting into Shota’s face almost regardless of how the song was going, then put him in the skirt until the end of the song. He was bending down and seemed to be talking into the skirt (i.e. Shota). I’m sure the other guys are doing something interesting during this song too, but I never take my eyes off of Shota during this song! Haha. No, I’m not biased or anything.
Kanfuu Fighting - In all three shows, Shota and Ohkura put fingers in each other’s asses. Haha, that sounds weird but it’s true. I forgot which did when, but one of them would stick their butt out and the other would put his fingers in the crack. They don’t sing the full song anymore. Subaru came right in front of us in Show 1. I could clearly see his facial hair (little beard on the chin). Yoko came right in front of us as well as he was doing the “Dragon ga!”
Sukiyanen Osaka - Finally! Subaru starts with “OSAKA!” like it’s supposed to! Haha. Usually he screams out the name of the prefecture or city they are in. Shota and Hina were doing the weird dance like always and I think Ohkura was joining in at one point too; it’s been a week so I don’t remember much now, haha.
Greetings - Ohkura couldn’t get his sentences straight at all, haha what the heck. For the last one, he kept on saying “So August is about to end” when it is September 2 already so the crowd kept on telling him he was wrong. He responded by saying “I know we’re two days into September already! But we worked so hard in August! Let me just say it’s the ‘end of August’!” All of Shota’s greetings were crazy. He’s like “Let’s get crazy!!” and really did this super weird dance. Maru couldn’t stop laughing at that and they danced together a bit too. Maru was random as usual. One time he said “Saba (mackerel), Semi (cicada) and Shake (salmon)!” There’s no meaning to those whatsoever, haha. Just saying them because he likes the sounds of them.
Hina’s greetings were as per usual. He said “Hi” to all but one section, and when they booed, he told them that they should be “zukkoke-ing” as in tripping forward. He went over the “Hi” once again, ignoring the same section, and this time many fans fell forward; I happened to be “ignored” for all three shows, and each time he gave us points. I think Show 1 he said 80 points, then Show 2 was higher than that but I forgot, haha. In Show 1, Yoko said that his mom and brothers, the “Yokoyama family” was here, and that it was extremely awkward… but “Sonna no kankei nee!” This “Sonna no-“ bit is done by this psycho muscular comedian that only wears speedos and says things that are bad or awkward to him, then follows by saying “Demo sonna no kankei nee!” while stomping his one foot and moving his one arm up and down (wow, it’s so hard to explain this!). “Demo sonna no kankei nee!” basically translates into “But that doesn’t really matter!” In Show 3, Yoko said “I have a fever of 38C… just kidding! I’m really genki!”
Subaru screamed to fire the crowd up, but in Show 3, he was like “Osaka last show… you never know what will happen tonight. I might show my ochinchin (he really said this)… please pretend not to see it when I do… but I’m sure you are going to see it even if I tell you not to.” Ryo kept on using English. He’s like “HI HONEY!!! THIS IS YOUR DARLING, RYO-CHAN! I LOVE YOU! I HATE YOU!”
Explosion - Subaru and Maru usually take turns doing the scat thing during the intro. Apparently in Show 3, my friend told me that Ryo said “Bakuhatsu (=Explosion in Japanese)” instead of “Explosion,” but I was distracted by Shota and Subaru’s grinding action in the middle so I missed it. Haha. Every time Subaru says “Open your heart to me,” he opens his eyes real wide. I try watching it on the screen every time, but for Shows 2 and 3, the screens were extremely hard to see because of the stupid lights in the way. In Show 1, after they spread out near the end of the song, Shota came right in front of us. He threw his jacket away and was just in his shirt… and then he ripped it open and WOW hello perfect torso!
Misetekure - Shota and Maru were topless with their instruments. For Shows 1 and 3, I was only focused on Shota, haha. For Show 2, Maru was closer so I was watching him since I knew I’d be able to see Shota again in Show 3. Maru and Hina are always facing each other during the rap. Toward the end of the song, there was a hot topless guitarist and bassist who met up in the middle and walked toward the drums.
Eden - Right before Shota plays his solo, there’s this break where Ryo and Subaru always face each other. For all three shows, they pretended to kiss but their faces were still like 30cm away, haha. In Show 1, Ryo was topless. Shota was facing our way most of the time, if not at Ohkura. Hina was on the keyboard from start to end; he didn’t have the tambourine anymore.
1: Down Up, 2: ONE, 3: Stereo - When they do Subaru BAND, usually Shota comes into the spotlight and plays an awesome solo while Subaru gets ready. Ohkura joined in on Shota’s solo and they had an awesome session going on. For Down Up, Maru had a towel around his neck (still topless) and was standing in the center in front of the mic. He said “Down Up!” and the intro started. We were all like “Oh my, is Maru going to sing!?” but Subaru came to the front right before the song started, haha. Shota and Subaru, both topless, jammed on the guitar facing each other during the bass/drum solo. In Show 2, I was able to hear ONE again. I feel like I’ve heard ONE as many as times as Down Up! Oh, and did I say how I really like the recent arrangement of Stereo?
1: Wonder Boy, 2: Wonder Boy, 3: Forward - Finally, I got to hear Wonder Boy again! Haha, the last few times I was stuck with (?) Fantastic Music. I must honestly admit that this is the first time I actually paid attention to what he was wearing and realized that he had a pink jacket on with “Wonder Boy” written on the back, haha. There were just too many Juniors. Forward was Forward… ONE TIME! was louder than usual it felt like since it was the last show in Osaka and people knew when to yell what.
1: Watashi Kagami, 2: Watashi Kagami, 3: Mamoritai - Yay, I got to hear Watashi Kagami twice! He sounded good. Yoko either made faces or whispered something to Shota each time he was leaving the stage and Shota was getting ready. There were big ring-shaped lights in the stands toward the end of the song. Mamoritai was Mamoritai, haha.
Eight Ranger 1 - It started out normally with Yellow doing the confession first. He said “Hey, I haven’t seen you in a while… it doesn’t seem like it though, at least to me. I see you in my dreams. You have a boyfriend? Haha, I’m talking around the bush here… I like you.” Something to that extent. People were like Ooooo! Then, Nasu asks Black. Since Yoko’s family was there, the Rangers made him do the confession. Black kept on pleading to not do this tonight because it was extremely awkward and embarrassing. He was forced to do it anyway. “Hey, let’s sit down… We’re 26 already, huh? Remember when you were cold, we warmed each other up? You touched my back and acted tough saying you weren’t cold… Can you kiss me?” and kinda ended the confession prematurely with his trademark laugh. Nasu and Red said that that was a real confession he used when he was a teenager. Black said yeah, when he was in middle school. Then, Green said “Black, you have someone you like!?” and then the story started shifting to a special version… yes, they mixed up the roles but I mean REALLY shuffled them up! No one did their original role. I must honestly say that I was disappointed because my front row seat would have had a perfect view of Blue and Red had the roles been normal, but instead I had an unbelievable view of who else but Black and Nasu, LOL. Oh well. (No offense to Black/Nasu/and their fans; I’m just a bit more biased toward Blue and Red, haha)
Red called Blue to their side and left Black by himself. He was protesting so much, but gave in eventually. “Yeah… she’s actually waiting for me now. I have to go ask her for the result (of his confession the previous day).” After Black left, the other Rangers huddled up to have a rather long meeting (dead serious, too!) to discuss who was playing who’s role. They were whispering but sometimes you could hear Yellow saying “What!? I have to do Orange!?” or Nasu saying “Wait, then that means I have to sing!”
So the roles went like this:
Blue’s role by Black (basically the main character, who falls in love with the girl)
Black’s role by Green (the one that finds out the girl’s been cheating on Blue and tries to make Blue break up with her)
Green’s role by Blue (basically does nothing throughout the skit, lol, except for saying some cool lines toward the end)
Red’s role by Nasu (the one that supports Blue and sings to/with him)
Nasu’s role by Red (the one that comments here and there to move the story forward)
Yellow’s role by Orange (the one that punches Black but is the one that knew Black was actually trying to help Blue out)
Orange’s role by Yellow (the one that soothes Yellow and helps Yellow and Black make up… and usually says random things and moves weirdly)
It was hilarious because the guys acted out the roles imitating the original character. Black was trying to be all cute and saying his lines copying the way Blue says it usually, like “gomeeeen.” Yellow was totally nuts and hyper as Orange. It was so out of character, haha. Orange on the other hand was cool and kakkoii; again, out of character, haha. Blue was just standing on the stage basically doing nothing, just like Green. Green had some important lines to say since Black usually does it, but he was either messing up or laughing, or both, haha. Red was the most confused of all as he had no clue what to say when or where to go. He was the weakest “Nasu” I have ever seen, haha. Nasu on the other hand did his best with the song! Black had to sing Blue’s song and he kept on moving the mannequin around as he looked at the screen for the lyrics. Blue was able to dance the group dance well! Nandemo dekiru ko <3
Green sees the girl cheating on Black and wonders how he should tell that to him. The ‘next morning’ they meet and Black informs all that his confession went well. Yellow was weird and hyper like Orange. Green tells Black he likes him, he LOVES him, and wanted Black to break up with the girl. Black said he likes Green second after the girl, but Green said “I’m more comfortable to sleep on!” Green went on saying “You know, you guys don’t go together well. She has such pale skin.” “I have pale skin too!” “Well if two pale people were walking together, you’d be invisible! Break up with her!” Red was supposed to be stopping the fight but was wandering back and forth between them. They end up fighting and Black pushes Green away saying “You pig!!” and leave. Orange shoves Green and Green leaves, Yellow and Orange had ‘something to talk about’ and they both leave. Nasu realizes he had to be Red so he went to the middle of the stage and had his arms crossed. Red was like “Nasu, you know what to do (since he wasn’t sure what to tell him).” Nasu’s like “I don’t really, but I guess I go after Black now, right?” Throughout the skit, Red kept on repeating “Nandeyanen” as if that would satisfy the role of Nasu, haha. Only Blue and Red remained on the stage and Red just pulled Blue with him to leave the stage.
When Black had to say “I can’t believe Green! Why do I have to break up with her! I hate him!” Nasu came in the spotlight when he wasn’t supposed to (usually Red walks real slowly in the darkness when the spotlight is on Blue so that the timing is right) so he quickly rushed back down the stairs (his helmet was still poking out of the stairs though, haha). Black had his back to the camera so he turned around and said his line over. On the other side of the stage, Green was begging for the little Junior to give Black and the girl a chance. He’s like “I have plenty of money!” as if money would solve the problem, lol. Then hyper Yellow comes out to save Green and got punched as well. Yellow was like “ahhhhh!!” as he fell to the ground. Then he called up Orange, who was acting all cool and calm. When Orange and Green (pretending to throw rocks, haha I guess in his mind there was a river of some sort around?) were like “I knew you were lying,” “Your punch didn’t hurt,” Yellow comes in all loud saying “YOU GUYS!!!! THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING! IRRITATING! JUST SAY SORRY AND MAKE UP!!!” LOL. HAHA, Yellow was hilarious. He must have been on some kind of crack.
Nasu and Black were watching this and Nasu told Black, “See, Black? Everyone’s supporting you…” and starts singing the song Subaru usually sings!! Black started laughing. They both did the stretch thing and the spread the arms bit that Blue and Red usually do (and what I would have seen real close had they not switched the roles up!). Red and Blue were at center stage and they were both laughing at them. Nasu and Black stopped in front of me for a while, so I said “Ganbatte!” to Nasu, haha. He sang it pretty well and the crowd applauded after he finished the song. Black went to hug Green at center stage and Red tried to explain how everyone’s been helpful but said it at an awkward timing because he had forgotten that it was his turn to say something.
They made Black go hit the girl, but Black couldn’t hit her. Every one gathered and said that violence shouldn’t be the answer to anything. Orange (usually Yellow) had something to say to Black (usually Blue) and he’s like “Don’t show a face like that in front of the girl you once fell for!” but Black was laughing, haha. Then, as all of them were leaving the girl, Blue (usually Green) stopped and said to the mannequin, “You know… don’t think guys are this easy” and the crowd went “OOOOO!!!” because Blue was kakkoii. Then Black told the girl to be happy, the girl said “YOU TOO” and Red smacked her. Three times.
Black said he doesn’t know if he could trust another girl, and Blue said “Look around you, there are so many great girls here!” the crowd went Kyaaaaa and there was a few seconds of silence that followed… then Green said “…where?” SUCH BAD TIMING, haha. Black usually says that right after so Green’s timing was awful, haha.
Black thanked the guys for being there for him when he needed them. Orange started walking toward the main stage. He’s like “after hearing Black’s comment…” and Black’s like “it’s not a press conference! It wasn’t a ‘comment,’ those words came from my heart!” Haha. Orange said that they couldn’t have done this without everyone else and asked the guys what the arena is filled with right now. The guys were like “What is it??” and then Orange said “You wanna know? …ENERGY!” and went on to the next song. They’ve changed from Arigato to Energy since the 100th show (earlier show in Osaka).
Eight Ranger 2 - This was normal version. Of course, the only show I’m not sitting on Shota’s side, Shota does his normal role. Oh well, haha. Red’s scooter stopped working so he walked back to the main stage and did the butt wiggle with Black during the theme song. Confessions were Yellow and Green. Yellow was acting like a baby saying “I don’t want to go home… can you kiss me? I don’t wanna go…” Green acted drunk and fell on the girl’s lap for a hiza-makura (lap pillow).
Throughout the skit, Yellow was weird and the Rangers said “Yellow, your character is weird today! So many different emotions you’ve got!” Blue’s ippatsugei was “Zuboraya!” and puffed his face. Zuboraya is a famous puff fish restaurant in Osaka. When the girl turned him down the first time, Blue was whining and said that he was so shocked he wanted to die. He laid flat on his stomach and moved his legs up and down. The girl of course said Yes and he was all happy.
The “boyfriend” of the girl was one of the boys from Top Kids. He’s like “I’m so-and-so from Top Kids. You seem to be hanging out with some other guy, huh?” Later when Black saw this he’s like “What’s Top Kids?” Black did a slow doron as he said “How should I tell Blue without hurting him…”
Black’s way of talking Blue out of the girl was telling him that she had arm pit hair. Nasu, who was supposed to settle things between Black and Blue, was like “Ew, I wouldn’t suggest a girl that can’t even shave arm pit hair to you, then!” but Blue said “Well, I will love her regardless!!” Blue shoved Black and ran away, Yellow said “You know there are still women in the world that grow arm pit hair!?” and punched Black. Black left, Yellow and Orange left, Red left to chase Blue, and Green said “Let’s go, Ukare-ponchi!” to Nasu. “Ukare-ponchi” means… umm… like “idiot that’s carried away” kinda thing?? Hahaha. Nasu’s like “I’m not the least carried away!”
When Orange stood in between Black and Yellow as they made up, Black commented on how too cool Orange was and Orange started being silly again. Then, as Red started singing to Blue, Yellow stuck his right leg in between Orange’s legs and started grinding. On the other hand, Red was stripping off Blue’s top and at a brief break in the song, Blue said “Suki ni shite (=do whatever you’d like)” to Red. Too many things to keep an eye out for, seriously!
The story went along and Blue couldn’t hit the girl and they all came around him. Blue had his ass stuck out really high and Black hovered over him and fit himself nicely in between Blue’s legs and ass and thrusted up a few times. Then after they all gathered in the middle, Black did the thrust move again and things started to get crazy. When Orange went to the main stage to do his speech before the next song, he kept on doing the crazy thrust action. He was so hyper that Blue and Green couldn’t stop laughing. Green was HA HA HA -ing the whole time, haha. Blue was like “Orange, stop, my stomach hurts!” Red and Black were like “oh look, he (Orange) went to heaven (came)…” after Orange stopped thrusting and looked tired.
Eight Ranger 3 - Once again, it would have been a great seat had the roles been normal, but they changed it up again! This might be on the tour DVD as a bonus track (the boys said this would be on the bonus track if it is good enough) so I won’t go much into detail, but here are the roles:
Blue’s role by Yellow (basically the main character, who falls in love with the girl)
Black’s role by Red (the one that finds out the girl’s been cheating on Blue and tries to make Blue break up with her)
Green’s role by Nasu (basically does nothing throughout the skit, lol, except for saying some cool lines toward the end)
Red’s role by Orange (the one that supports Blue and sings to/with him)
Nasu’s role by Blue (the one that comments here and there to move the story forward)
Yellow’s role by Black (the one that punches Black but is the one that knew Black was actually trying to help Blue out; Black insisted on taking Yellow’s role since it was a cool role, haha)
Orange’s role by Green (the one that soothes Yellow and helps Yellow and Black make up… and usually says random things and moves weirdly)
Basically, no one wants to do Orange’s role but Green was forced to this time. He kept on saying “AMAAAAS!” or suddenly jumping up and down and doing the M-pose and Biliken-san etc. and totally being crazy. Yellow and Orange are good singers so they sang the songs well! Red had no idea how Black’s role usually was like (the crowd knew better; we were all pointing to where he was supposed to be going but he went some place else instead). Black was like “Red, how can you NOT know this after 100+ shows!?” Nasu did the “just standing there and doing nothing” role of Green’s well and Blue did a good Nasu-job, too!
Confessions were Red and Blue (kya!). Red was on the phone and then met up with the girl later. During his confession, a big sound (from the speaker) and a staff’s voice came in and he didn’t finish his confession up too well. That sound scared me! Blue’s confession was adorable <3 He called the girl and was a bit tipsy. He’s like “You know, I want to hold hands with you… but it’s hard you know, because I’m a Johnny’s.” Black in the background was like “You are Johnny’s!?” Blue said “…come fall into my arms.” The crowd went KYAAAA and Yellow or someone was like “Blue’s confession is so new and fresh! (because he doesn’t do it usually)”
The rest you can watch it (hopefully) on DVD!! (Not that I’m too lazy to write the rest or anything.) I don’t know if this could be on DVD though because there were many “shimo-neta” comments by Red and Black, haha.
Energy - Ever since the 100th show, they have changed the song from Arigato to Energy. Therefore, the three that remain on the stage were Shota, Maru and Ohkura instead of Shota, Maru and Yoko. Shota explained at the end of the song that unfortunately they weren’t able to go around the arena with the carts due to safety issues, but that the other guys would come out soon to a place near you.
Obachan Rock - So Subaru came out right in front of us in Show 1. He really avoids eye contact with anyone, haha. He just looks up in the general area of the audience but never straight into someone’s eyes (except for Shota’s; whenever Subaru went near Shota, he had to do something to him like touch, whisper, smile, etc).
MC 1 - The sad thing about the Osaka shows was that they skipped Itsuka, Mata!! They had a freakishly long Junior medley that took time away from the MC as well as Itsuka, Mata. I mean I don’t hate the Kansai Juniors, but Itsuka, Mata is one of my favorite songs!!!!!
During Show 1, they talked about how special the Eight Ranger skit was (this was when Black did Blue). Hina said how Subaru’s such a good singer singing that song all the time, and Yoko said “I’ve realized once again how BAD Hina and I are (at singing)!!” Ryo commented on how difficult Orange’s character was. They kept on thanking the fans for being so understanding while they fooled around and had fun changing up the roles.
They also talked about Yoko’s mom visiting them in their dressing room. Minako-san said how old Hina and Subaru have become. She liked Ohkura so she wanted to talk to him, but when Hina saw her, she was talking enthusiastically to Shota. Hina said “Ohkura’s over there,” and she was like “Oh! Oops! You guys look so different on TV!” …How could you mess up Ohkura and Shota!? Haha. Yoko apologized for all that was happening; he didn’t know about it because he was talking with his brothers.
They talked about the others’ families too and at one point, Ryo said “My mama…” and was like “You know, I don’t call her ‘mama’ usually; it’s just at these places I say it! I usually call her… okaasan?” They also talked about how crazy it would be if all of their okans joined them in Obachan Rock. Yoko was like “Imagine our moms walking next to us holding our baskets full of sign balls!” They were all like noooooo. Hina said “Don’t say too much; they (the staff) might really make it happen!”
MC 2 - Yoko said that Yoko’s mom really had a great time the night before. She said that the boys were normal behind the stage but were so idol-like on stage. The brothers were impressed with Ohkura’s drums. Then they started talking about Ohkura’s mom and that she was watching today. Ohkura kept on telling people to stop looking around. He said if people found out where she was sitting, they were going to ask her how he was like during his childhood and all. He kept on saying “She doesn’t need to come (to the dressing room after the show)! She doesn’t need to come!” Yoko asked for her name and he said it was Satoko (said in a weird pronunciation). The search for Satoko began and Yoko asked everyone in the crowd to close their eyes and only for Satoko to raise her hand so that they know where she is. Ohkura’s like “Of course there would be liars out there with their eyes opened!” I had my eyes opened the whole time btw, haha. Ryo pointed to one of the girls with a Maru uchiwa and said “That Maruyama over there!! Cheater!!” and Maru went to the girl and told her “Close your eyes!” The “let’s find Satoko” mission failed miserably but Yoko asked Ohkura “so what are you thankful to Satoko about?” Ohkura said “the fact that she gave birth to me.” Yoko said “What is your favorite mama’s dish?” He said “Natto.” Maru promoted his drama talking directly to Satoko (in Maru’s mind, Satoko was sitting near the box seats so he was facing that direction).
They were talking about summer vacations and how school must be starting soon. Yoko said that he hasn’t had a “summer vacation” in 11 years and that that comment just proved that he only went up to middle school, haha. Hina’s like “I’m sure most of them know already.” Yoko said he has been working before all the 11-year olds were even born. Yoko asked if there were 11-year olds out there and one girl started jumping up and down. The spotlight went to her and he asked how old she was; she said she was 12. Yoko was like “Okay, you know I was looking for 11-year olds, right? Why are you so confident when you say ‘I’M 12!!’ I’m going to hit you, okay?” Haha.
They also said that they’ve seen the sample of the photo book that has been completed up until the Dome. They said that the pictures were really good and that they all had natural facial expressions. Baku-san (the fat cameraman) was in the stands so they asked him to take a picture of them on stage since they hadn’t had one in Osaka yet. The boys turned his back toward us and took two pictures. One holding hands and another jumping up.
Hey Say 7 West came out again and they realized that the costume they were wearing was from the Naniwa Irohabushi trance mix on Excite (as Maru pointed out). Ohkura said he was looking all over for it and the guys were like “I didn’t give you permission to wear these!” Hina looked at one of the guy’s costume (he was the shortest) and said “Did you get Yasuda’s?”
I forgot whether I heard this at an MC, heard it on the radio, or read it on a MC report… but I’ll just throw it in here. They were talking about BAD Kiriyama’s birthday and that Shota took them out for dinner. Yoko joined later on and wanted to pay (so that he’ll look good) while Shota left his seat, but the manager said “Yasuda-san already paid for it.” Yoko was pissed so he went to the register and asked for the receipt but to put it in his name so that he could pay for it. The Juniors kept on thanking Shota for dinner so Yoko’s like “Guys! I PAID!” Yoko said that he wanted to let them know that HE had paid and that they should thank HIM in person, haha.
MC 3 - They were talking about celebrities who have come to their concerts so far. They named a few that came and a few that couldn’t come (those who have come included Momoko-san, Sugimoto-san, Kazu and a few other soccer players etc.). Tsukitei Hachimitsu-san was in the stands that day so they put the spotlight on him. He’s the guy who was on the most recent Janiben with Akai Hidekazu as guest. Hachimitsu-san showed up in a VTR where he gave a quiz out regarding Akai.
They talked about how ridiculous the goods lines could get. They line up for so long only to find some things are sold out. The boys said they’ll make sure to tell that to the organizers and have them come up with a better way to do organize the goods lines. The crowd appreciated it and applauded.
They talked about the airplane almost falling thing again. Yoko said that it reminded him of the earthquake. He was living in a 31-story apartment back then and everyone was like “Serious!?” and he said “Yeah, well on the fourth floor... but anyway.” He said that since the building was so high, it shook really hard and he heard people screaming and stuff. When the airplane was going through major turbulence, he heard people screaming again and that reminded him of it. When it landed safely, Ryo screamed YAAAAY and everyone else followed.
They also talked about the time they had to go to Nagano on the bus. Their scheduled departure time was already delayed because Hina was watching a show, but they were waiting for an extra hour because Hina was running late. They were all in a pissy mood by the time Hina came. Hina was like “sorry!” and since he sensed that the others were pissed at him, he fell fast asleep with his mouth wide-opened, lol. Yoko sarcastically said to the driver “So, what time will THIS take us to Nagano?” but Hina wasn’t even listening. Hina said that all of them looked angry and was kinda ignoring him, except for one kid; he patted Shota’s head and said that he was the only one who said “It’s alright, Hina-chan!” Shota said that he was sleeping while they were waiting so it wasn’t a big deal. Yoko didn’t like that and said “See, your (Shota’s) image is going up again!! Everyone, Yasu has so much hair on his back!!” LOL. Shota’s like “Love me for that, too…” which reminded me of the arm pit hair conversation regarding the mannequin during one of the Ranger skits, haha. Maru wasn’t there for the plane ride or the bus ride because he was shooting for “Tsuukai Every Day.”
Yoko said that in the song they sang for the tribute album, they all have solos and that Yoko’s solo was pretty long. They all said that the song sounded really cool and couldn’t believe that they were the ones singing it. I think Maru said something about his solo part being shorter than Yoko’s, lol.
Junior Medley - There was a long medley by Hey Say 7 West, Top Kids, Boys, Ossan and BAD. I don’t know where else to write it so I’ll write here; during Show 1 (the magical first row), SO MANY juniors walked in front of me. I’ve recognized most of the older ones and they looked exactly like they do on TV, haha. They were all so skinny. Nakama was especially very idol-like; his smile was so shiny!
1. Magic Word, 2. Magic Word, 3. Ruwa - So many juniors were dancing in front of me in Show 1 for Maru’s solo. I didn’t notice there were so many dance moves that went with the song, haha.
Junior’s dance - I like the music to this dance, which leads to the K8 dance.
K8 dance - Ohkura/Hina, Yoko/Maru, and Subaru/Shota/Ryo. Yoko was wearing glasses.
Kanashii Koi - Nothing too special in any of the three shows.
Osaka Rainy Blues - Shota and Ryo were doing their “Let’s be cute and copy each other’s moves” dance-off in the darkness when Subaru sings his first solo. During Show 1, Ryo, Shota and Maru walked by. Maru was a very kakkoii man! This was one of the rare times that Maru and Ryo walked by my area.
Futari no Namida Ame - I couldn’t see it but my friend told me Subaru was making faces at Shota during Ryo’s solo.
Osaka Romanesque - Nice to hear all the Osaka-related places in the song IN Osaka.
1. Heavenly Psycho, 2. Heavenly Psycho, 3. Care - In my 10th show of the tour, I finally heard something other than Heavenly Psycho during the “Let’s sing with Ryo-chan” bit. Too bad I didn’t know Jin’s song; I couldn’t sing along :-( Ohkura joined in for Care with the drums.
Band session - In Show 3 Ohkura was saying something like “I’m the drummer” or whatever. As usual, the three were really kakkoii. My mom started laughing so much when the little man in super shiny yellow/green/pink costume with a yellow skirt and pink leggings came out. He is REALLY shiny during this session.
Do you agree? - Shota was jumping up and down throughout the song right in front of me. Right before he left the area, he sent me a glance and smiled widely <3 It definitely sends a bolt through your body when your eyes actually meet! I think I was the only one with a YASU uchiwa around my area, so he stayed there for very long and gave me the smile at the end <3<3
Gojo ni Go! - Subaru was hyper during this song. I could clearly see him looking straight into Shota’s eyes when he sings this song. I really think Subaru loves him, lol. The reason my seat in Show 1 was so fabulous was because I KNEW that Shota and Subaru were going to be there a lot. Aside from the irregular Black/Nasu bit during the Ranger, I was able to get a lot of Subaru and Shota in front of me.
Sayonara wa Itsumo - I think Yoko sang the song really well especially in Shows 2 and 3.
EN Mugendai & Zukkoke Otokomichi - Hina stopped in front of our area and kept waving, and he looked at me and waved too. Another bolt ran through my body! I forget during which encore it was, but Subaru was walking around and was trying to throw his sign board, but it went below the stage. He stood right in front of me for a while until the staff got the board for him. He was asking the crowd (but no one in particular because he never looks at people in the eyes) “Do I stand here?” so we kept on telling him “Yes! Yes!” He was soooo close. Because I was focused on Subaru, I didn’t see Yoko shaking hands with the girl next to my mom and I missed my chance to shake his hand! Damn it! Yoko and Shota kept on doing the “Soya soya soya soya!” during Zukkoke.
Double and Triple Encores - Only greetings for the double encore in the first two shows, and sang Kanfuu Fighting during the double encore of Show 3. They brought out a bottle of champagne on to the stage in the last show and started chugging it. I think Ohkura drank first, then Ryo, then Shota, then Subaru took the bottle from Shota and chugged a lot of it. It went back to Ohkura or whatever and Shota had the last few gulps before he gave the bottle back to a staff. I saw Shota asking Yoko something when Ohkura came out with the bottle; maybe to ask him if it was alright to drink on stage? At first they said “Congratulations!” so I thought maybe they were going to celebrate Shota’s birthday, but I think it meant congratulations on finishing a super crazy schedule in August and let’s do our best in the remaining three prefectures. I’m hoping I get to see something for Shota’s birthday in Kagoshima!
Yoko, Maru and Ohkura (Team Metabolic) came out topless in one of the encores. I think this was the result of the eating contest they were talking about before, but they didn’t say so I’m not sure. Shota had his pink leggings off in two of the shows; in one of them, he pulled it down to his ankles and walked around with his feet tied together. He also went down the stairs like that hopping. He was jumping like crazy. Hina fooled around with the crowd for a while as he was leaving. He also did Tamori-san’s clapping thing, too. Yoko once came out topless and in shorts. Subaru had his tie-dye shirt with boots.

I’m sorry, I think I’ve missed a lot of things in this report but going to three shows, having no time to write reports for a week because of a busy week at work, and finally sitting down to write up a report without notes after a week passed, is not the best way to write a perfect report, haha. I hope you all get a good idea though!!
