I haven't done anything Johnny's-related in March, but I did attend a few events in the last three days.
On Monday, I went to the FiVe live in Osaka. After the show, they had a little Marching J type thing where they had the fundraising box, so we lined up and shook hands with all the members :-) When I shook hands with Ryota, I said "Thank you!" in English and he said "Your pronunciation is really good!" ...Uhh, thanks, lol. I told Rikiya that I loved his haircut and he held my hand tightly and said "Thank you very much. Please come again." Aww :-) The live itself was fun too; I knew most of the songs so I didn't really feel too out of place (which I thought I'd feel after not seeing them for more than 10 months!)
Today (Wednesday) happens to be the 10,000th day of my existence, haha. My friend who has a birthday the day before me told me about this and it felt kinda good to know :-) On this memorable day, I went to another Janiben filming! It's my fourth time in four years. I think I only hit for it once every year, so I'm glad I was able to go this time as well.
I can't post any spoiler-ish things, so here are some notes that are hopefully not too spoiler-ish:
- While we were waiting in line outside the studio, I saw Yoko, Ohkura, Subaru and Ryo pass by the hallway upstairs. I think many fans were there for the first time so they weren't really paying much attention to that area, but I knew they'd walk by so I was like "wheeee!" when I saw Yoko, had a smiley staring contest with Ohkura who peeked through an opening, saw Subaru walking without showing any interest in the crowd beneath him (surprise, lol) and a top naked Ryo. I didn't see his face, I only saw his stomach but it's funny how I can tell that it's him.
- The Janiben set changed a little bit. The sofas they sit on are still the same, but there's only one screen now and there seemed to be fewer things overall. The door knob changed, too (the AD was pretty enthusiastic about this, haha).
- All seven of them were there, yay! The way they sat were (back row L to R) Maru, Shota, Ryo, Yoko, Ohkura, (front row L to R) Hina, Guest, Subaru.
- I was in the second row and had a very similar view from the one I had three years ago. The cameras got in the way most of the time, but it was nice to be on my side because Shota's line of sight was this way :-)
- The guest (sorry but I can't name the person... it's a "she" though!) had met and worked with four of the boys before but it was her first time meeting the other three.
- She used to watch old idol shows like "Idol on Stage" and knew of Ryo ever since he was a tiny boy.
- There was a lot of talking and a looooong time for a game. That got a bit boring torwards the end, lol.
- Maru was hyper. He was "tied up" to a chair during one segment :-D He said "Oh my GOSH" and some other very random English that I cannot remember, haha. He said "Oh my god, sh*t" so I was like nooooooo, that's not what it means... lol.
- There were Yasuba moments on and off-camera. During the break, they were whispering to each other and laughing. On camera, Subaru had his arm on Shota's shoulder and they were next to each other throughout the game.
- Ryo was on the other side of Shota and he had his arm on Shota's shoulders often, too. One time I saw Shota putting his arm on Ryo's shoulder, haha. I figured out why Shota and Ryo's always holding hands when they introduce the games... Ryo was sticking his middle finger out and Shota was hiding it! So THAT's what they were always doing!
- Ohkura spoke up during the game, mainly attacking Yoko, haha.
- Hina was Hina. Loud and very Hina-ish, haha.
They didn't tell us when the show is going to be aired, but I'm looking forward to it!! I think most of what I saw will be on air because they only filmed for about an hour and a half for the hour-long show (the AD said that the filmings are longer than before in general, though).
My next Johnny's-related thing will be the TOKIO live in Shiga on Sunday. The tickets haven't come yet (grrr) but I called JFC and they said they're on their way. Looking forward to going to my 28th prefecture for a live/concert!!
Oh, and of course, congrats to Kanjani8 for the 24-hour TV! I'm looking forward to August :-)
