[Random] Finally, a break
What a hectic few days it has been! I was in Indonesia from the 12th to the 16th, then had the company end-of-the-year party on the 17th, flew to Sendai on the 18th for GLAY and travelled to Tokyo for K8 on the 19th, coming back to Kansai on the first train back and going straight to work on the 20th.
Guess which seat I sat in for the ride home!?!?!?
Hehe :-D Car 9 is the green car so it was way too expensive, but it's not every day that I take the Nozomi 1 train so I just got it!! Haha, yay!! It didn't even depart from Shin-Osaka, but oh well. It's special anyway!!
In Sendai, I went to the GLAY live which was awesome as usual, and for dinner my friend and I went to the place they went in Bouken Japan!! It's funny because only a week after K8 was in Sendai, GLAY came! My two favorite group/bands!!
OMG the shin-toro-tan was soooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!! Delicious!!!!!!
The next day we took the shink (8-gosha 8-ban, haha) to Tokyo for the K8 concert. I was in Arena C, front row of the block in the corner. I had the corner seat, which turned out to be pretty nice. It was hard to see things happening in the center of the dome (gosh, the Dome is huge compared to the other venues!!) but when they came to the side, they were really close. When they first got on the moving 8Upper buses, Ryo looked at me and nodded. He did the same thing in Hokkaido! I wonder what he means by that action, haha. Hina came by really close during the encore on ground floor but he was more focused on a guy dressed up as santa in the stands, haha. He might have known him or something.
The Yasu -> Maru letter was cute. I love how Maru was the only one out of the 55,000 + 7 people there that understood what Shota was trying to say, lol. Oh Yamada love <3 I would have loved to hear what Shota had to say to Subaru the day before, but... oh well! I wish they have all the letter readings on DVD as well as the unit songs and TOPOP!!!
I liked how they included many songs that I wanted to hear (Do you Agree, Dive, GIFT, etc.), but without TOPOP I felt like there was something HUGE missing!! I hope they do it in Osaka (T_T) I think they were filming for a DVD; I saw many cameras! I wonder if I'll see myself in the DVD, haha.
I didn't go to the Nagoya shows (boo weekday!) so I only have the Osaka shows left!! Looking very much forward to those!!! For this tour, tickets have been crazy hard to get... I mean, I hit for all that I applied for, but to find tickets for shows that I didn't apply for was crazy. I managed to find tickets for one show in Ishikawa and two in Oita (both standing tickets) but that was it! I had extras for Osaka but the Osaka -> smaller venues trade didn't work... I had to find people with extra tickets instead of trades. This was the hardest tour to find tickets for, for sure!!
Anyway, next up for me is BAD/BOYS/Veteran in Osaka on Christmas Day, and then Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp's show in Osaka on the 26th! I love RENT so I'm definitely looking forward to that!!!
