[Concert] Day One done!
Day One is over for K8!!
I actually CRIED during one of the songs!! The only time I remember crying during a concert was when Uchi came out in Tokyo Dome. Other than that, I don't remember crying...
Maybe some people are still avoiding spoilers so I won't write much about the setlist, but they did a few songs that caught me off guard... in a good way, of course!
For the MC:
- Yoko talked about how he got all embarrassed at the Music Station After Party when the AKB48 girls (he kept on saying "Akiba48" when it's supposed to be "A-K-B-48") came to the corner where Yoko, Ohkura and Maru were standing and Ohkura was like, "What are you getting so doki doki about!" in such a loud voice, lol. Yoko got all red, haha. He said he thinks one of the girls is cute, but he's like "I'm not going to fall in love to an 18-year old!"
- Yoko told on Ohkura to Akanishi. Then, Akanishi goes "Hey Yokoyama-kun, over here over here!!" so loudly in front of the AKB girls, lol.
- Ohkura's voice is a lot louder than you would think. Everytime he says "That was good!" after a meal, it is so loud. When they were in Guam, they had a buffet for breakfast. Ohkura was eating as if it were dinner. There was an old couple sitting by, and out of nowhere, Ohkura said "THAT WAS GOOD!!" in such an intimidating way to that couple, lol. Poor old couple, who doesn't even understand Japanese!
- When they first said hi to AKB48, Hina was like "WOW there are so many of you!" so Yoko was like "Have a bit more delicacy!" Ryo tried to save the moment by saying "No! They aren't 'many'!" ...Ryo, yes there are many of them, haha.
- Hina asked if their family was going to be at the concerts. Tsukitei Hachimitsu-san was in the crowd again. One of Shota's "Team Gorilla" (=family) was at the show today as well. Yoko was traumatized by Shota's dad because he'd slap him the first thing when he seems him; just how a gorilla would try eating a banana.
- Ryo's not sure if his family was coming, but if we saw anyone who looked like him it was probably his family.
- Hina called Subaru's mom Taeko, and Subaru's like "Stop calling her Taeko! She's not your lover!" so Hina called her Taeko-san. I don't remember if Subaru said if Taeko-san was coming, but she usually comes with her friend.
- Maru's dad, brother and sister are coming tomorrow (31st). Speaking of Maru, Yoko saw the weirdest thing. He thought Ohkura's curry & tendon together in one meal was bad enough, but Maru was eating curry rice & curry bread, haha. Maru said that a cerain chain store had curry bread (I'm assuming Coco-Ichi?) and it sounded really good so he wanted to have one.
- Ohkura's family is coming but he doesn't want to say when because his father is famous (he admitted it, lol!) He said his dad is on Youtube and stuff so it's very weird. He doesn't want him to be on TV. Sometimes, a TV staff would come to him and say "I worked with your dad the other day!" According to Yoko, a few actors would come to him to tell him that they went out drinking with Ohkura's dad, too. Ohkura said, "It's embarrassing because he would tell people to take good care of me!"
- Yoko doesn't think his mom is coming because she hadn't asked him for anything. The guys wanted to see her because she was funny. She calls her own son "Yoko." Yoko said that the last time he saw her, she was missing her front teeth, lol. She wanted to say "Kimi" but it sounded like "Himi" ...he said "I lied a bit." I don't know which part was true and which wasn't, haha.
- There are 77 juniors supporting them for this concert, and the K8 guys are still debating whether they should give them otoshidama (a monetary gift for New Year's). Ryo said "Yokoyama-kun, you're the oldest... you're the leader! You decide!" They said they might want to think about using the pochi-bukuro (the tiny paper bags that you put the otoshidama in) that they have for the goods. Yoko still doesn't want to give out money because he doesn't have any for himself. "It all goes to charity" riiiiight.
- They put a lot more money on their stage set this time (it was like a castle!) so Yoko's like "We are saving money on other parts... our underwear is full of holes!" ...poor you, lol.
