Dear Journal
Well it has been awhile since I wrote to you, journal.
I hope you don't mind - I tried out Facebook but I'm not sure I will stay there. It seems good for communicating status changes (new photos, new feelings) and I love the geography game but you are better for recording events and observations that I can come back to later.
I survived a hike this weekend. Up to Plateau Dr. and then into the bush heading for the FM radio antenna, along the ridge and then down to Crumpet Creek, up the Hydro right-of-way and down to the end of Finch Dr., along Logger's Lane, the Blind Channel and back up the Smoke Bluffs then down to McNaughton Park and home.
Lukas (our German student) did not appear to break a sweat - I was exhausted.
