Alrighty, a little explanation on the story this mix is supposed to tell. "Do You Remember?" is straight up about Azula and Ty Lee when they met in school as kids. It's just a soft, sweet thing. "Crash into Me" and "Everyday" are more contented, falling in love type songs. Everything is in peace, everything is in order. "I Know What I Am" is an Azula power song. Not dark, not happy, just her layin' it down. "Buddy Holly" is completely Ty Lee. It's all about being with who you love and really not giving a shit otherwise. It's fun, it's dorky, and it's playful.
With "December", their relationship takes a bit of a turn. Things are starting to sour and darken a bit for the two of them as the chase for the Avatar grows more frantic. "What Do I Get?" is Azula being very dry - and slightly hysterical - about Ty Lee's betrayal at the Boiling Rock. "If it Makes You Happy" is mostly self-explanatory. From Azula's point of view, it pretty much signals a complete severing of whatever friendship or relationship they may have had.
"Creep" is basically a Ty Lee emo song. Everyone's got one. This one's Ty Lee's.
"Longing for Lullabies" is hoping for better days, ending on a sad yet somewhat hopeful note that maybe things can go back to the way they were before.
