OMG Supernatural you have broken my heart into a million shiny pieces. The episode itself was kind of slow for me in the beginning but I did enjoy it. The ending of it...whoa.
I loved that Dean was dreaming about fishing. Something relaxing and simple. It's just sad that he was completely alone.
So the name of Castiel's vessel is Jimmy. Jimmy Novak, husband of Amelia and father of Claire. I thought it was the most hilarious thing. To me Jimmy is the name of a 12 year old buy who likes to play with frogs and worms, lmao. I also enjoy the fact that Castiel has completely neglected basic human functions. Jimmy clearly is trying catch up with Dean in terms of being a complete beast at eating. I also applaud Misha Collins' voice change between the 2 characters.
I think we get so used to seeing possessed people as the thing possessing them and not as an actual human beings especially if they hang around the Winchesters: Castiel, Uriel, Ruby, Meg, Azazel, etc. It's sad to see how easily lower demons are killed because their human hosts drew the short straw of not getting possessed by someone cooler.
Now I'm just curious as to what the hell Castiel wanted to tell Dean. It's clear the trip to Heaven has knocked him around so hard he doesn't ever want to get chummy with any human ever again. I guess the angels in Heaven are not Dean/Castiel shippers.
Sam would make a terrible prison guard at this point with his addiction. I did note how he didn't just tell Jimmy he couldn't leave, he physically stopped him. I wouldn't be surprised if Jimmy had put up more of a fight, Sam wouldn't have hesitated to knock him out and drag him to the bed caveman style. LOL. Sam why are you such a junkie?! Shouldn't that blood have congealed? I do think Ruby was purposely keeping away. How is it that we have this girl around for 2 seasons and we still don't know what the hell it is she wants? No clear motivations or goals. Nothing. I still like her but damn who are you working for, if not for yourself? Also it hasn't been said outright but is it implied that Sam's been drinking blood since before Dean got back?
And what was the purpose of Anna? To tell Sam & Dean that it was a bad thing that Castiel was taken back to Heaven and that Sam is different? They would have figured the Castiel thing out and we all saw what happened with Sam. I was warming up a little to her character the last time but I just wasn't feeling her here. I did say 'Jesus Christ' out loud when she popped out of nowhere, though, lol. The reaction was hilarious.
I cracked up when Castiel said "I'm not your father" to Claire. It was sad but...come on. I'm glad I'm the only who thought of Star Wars. And I'm not even a fan.
I seriously thought the neighbor was banging the wife when she said "it's not a good time" but then I thought well, she still might be having sex with him but he's definitely a demon right now. Amelia has needs, Jimmy. They thought you were dead. Maybe you should have reconsidered being a vessel. I hope you didn't think it was gonna be all marshmallow clouds and skittle rainbows, delicious as they may be.
Was there a need to slap the poor girl? Continuing with the theme of bad moms this week but at least it wasn't Amelia's fault, she had an excuse (I'm looking you Angela Petrelli and Eloise Hawking). Girls named Claire have had it bad this week. It's either weird serial sexy Sylar-shaped killers or weird sexy Castiel-flavoredsupernatural stuff when you're named Claire. I did correctly that Claire is a a possible vessel but I didn't think it would actually happen. Oh and when did Castiel possess Claire? I guess the demons were not watching her close enough cause they did not notice a bright white light in her vicinity.
Oh and Sam that was both totally gross and sexy. But it was very, very, very wrong. At least Dean finally knows. Finally! The way they just locked Sam in the room...that was cold. But Sam does need it, I think. I think Dean and Bobby have been prepared for this day since their talk way back in season 3 about Sam coming back different. Well Bobby probably has been. I'm a little curious as to how Dean tipped off Bobby cause it seemed so sudden. Sneaky Dean is sneaky. Did he text him? Or have they been keeping surveillance on Sam?
I can't even look or think about earlier seasons cause I start to cry so I can imagine bad it's gonna be in the next episodes. Ok so the preview...I wasn't planning on watching it cause I wanted to be totally surprised but I couldn't even think to change the channel with the ending they gave us. All I can say is Holy Shit.(and Alastair's sorta back somehow, yay!!)
