Good episode. There were some parts I didn't really care for even if they were somewhat enjoyable anyways. I'm way more excited for next week's episode because Sylar's definitely one {how can you choose just one out of so many great ones in tv, film or books?}of my favorite serial killers. ;-)
Danko & Sylar: Danko likes to shave the old school way and dramatically although it doesn't seem all that efficient for a military man, lol.
So what was the deal with the stuffed rabbit because this scene didn't exactly follow through from last week's. Did Danko think it was odd, think "I didn't put that rabbit there", decided he's been working way too hard catching incompetent superpowered people who still manage to evade him and figured sleep was in good order? They showed Sylar in the apartment waiting last episode but this episode seems to be the morning after or the day after that. Considering Doyle was at least across the country last we saw him, I'd guess it would have to be the day after unless Sylar picked up some teleportation power somewhere. Then after that it just gets more complicated to think about. Like how did Sylar find Doyle? I'm so confused and intrigued. It was a really weird transition.
Tracy, Matt & Mohinder: Why the hell didn't they try to save anyone else? I understand that Tracey's too selfish and Matt's whipped one-sidedly by Daphne but not even Mohinder? I'm glad I'm not part of this universe with selfish people with powers. I'd save people there and I'd be such a villainess/anti-hero in their world, lol. I did love that the door to the room o'mutants was labeled as Human Resources.
Danko & Mohinder: Does Mohinder know what he has his PhD in? I mean, he does know that being called Doctor does not make him a doctor of everything, right? He's not the Doctor, there's only one of him(twoish but that other one off cavorting with Rose in parallelland doesn't count) and Mohinder you are certainly not him. I was getting a little irritated when Mohinder thought they needed him to save Daphne. You're not a medical doctor, Mohinder: You're a scientist! And not even a good/smart one. Then Danko played him and told him how it is and had him tazered. Only time I was happy with Danko. I love Mohinder but damn they have dumbed him down.
Mohinder: He was barely in the episode but I have to say are we ever gonna get a reunion between him and Sylar? I love them together, not necessarily "together, together", but they have good chemistry. Moreso than Matt and Daphne. Or Peter and Caitlin. Or Claire and West. Or just about any couple on this show.
Matt & Daphne: Matt is such a stalker. I wonder if he had the same tactics while trying to get with Janice. I was never sold on the Daphne/Matt relationship. Daphne/Hiro, I could have understood. Daphne/Ando, sure why not. But Matt and Daphne, it didn't work and the writers tried way too hard. I think I would have liked Daphne better if they didn't force her with a man, especially a much older man.
I knew she was dreaming from the minute Matt said he could fly. I suspected something was wrong before that but I wasn't sure. I was almost ready to say it was Sylar but then I realized it didn't make sense. It was nice of him to at least give a good memory before she died but it was very cheesy. And I don't care that's she dead. Call me heartless.
Hiro & Ando: Eh...the baby was cute at least. Some parts were good like Ando saying he was the "warm mommy". It was both creepy and adorable. Hiro admitting about his mom was sweet.
And the fact that Janice did not freak out as much as she should have when she saw two strange men in a closet full of stuffed animals with her only child. "You're not from the baby-sitting service", indeed.
I know he and Ando are supposed to be the comic relief of the show but sometimes it's too much and it doesn't work. Seriously, calling the baby Toddler Touch and Go and all the various names of that, they got out of hand. And borderline creepy at times. Just say Matt Jr. please. Hopefully bringing Janice back means the writers remember that Nathan also has a family.
HRG: How does he get to NYC to DC so quickly? It's not that far away butis he taking the Nathan express? Or is there some form of transportation that allows only the main characters to get place to place very quickly? There must be because even Sylar takes this magical transport when he's not in the mood for road trips.
Angela: What a crazy awesome bitch, lol. She's smarter than most of the people above and then some and for that alone I love her. I'm glad that Peter saved her. At least one of her children likes her. And not all her friends are freaks!
Also I have to say I would think there's more surveillance around the Statue of Liberty considering it's been closed (the top part) for the last 8 years because of 9/11 and Peter & Angela can't stay there too long. Come to Queens, no one would ever suspect it.
Tracy: She's definitely not gone, that creepy wink at the end proves that. I don't know if I'm more relieved that means Barbara isn't happening any time soon or that she's at least competent with her abilities. Too competent considering the timespan and lack of use but I'll let it slide. She'll pop up in the last two episodes, methinks.
Micah: He's grown up now!!! It was obvious that he would be Rebel considering that Hana died in the Graphic Novels but I'm not that counts as canon. He just wanted to help his aunt. I'm just sure that he could be doing this all alone. Angela made it seem like she doesn't know who Rebel is but you can never be too sure with her. I do like the idea that people were throwing around before that Molly, Micah and Angela were part of the Rebel team.
