This is a really long reactiony-post.
Supernatural [4.14-Sex & Violence]: This show makes me realize how much of a masochist I am, lol. Or maybe I’m a sadist and I like seeing the Winchesters in pain. It breaks my heart to watch but I can’t stop.
It was fun to finally see a succubus-type character (a Siren) since it makes sense with male leads on a paranormal show. I still dread the day that there will be a chupacabra…I might not be able to watch.
I thought that both the doctor & the agent were both sirens but it seems it wasn’t the case. Cara was just a red herring, it seems. I sorta called the FBI agent being the siren though from the minute he & Dean were doing music trivia at the strip club. It was too perfect: he was alone (anytime you see agents they’re usually in pairs) he loved and knew all of the mechanical details of the Impala & all of Dean’s music; it’s hilarious to think that Dean wants basically a mini-me version for a little brother though. It shows is that Dean not only wants his brother back, he needs his brother back. And that’s Dean’s whole thing; he needs to be needed.
When will Dean learn not share drinks/take drinks from people he just met? I don’t like to share drinks with people I know or even related to. But it was a good way to get Dean under the spell without him having to sex up the FBI guy.
Sam…well it was nice to see him flirt with someone. Although as Dean said under the spell, Sam sure does like his monster-type chicks: Meg, Ruby, Madison, Laurie (sorta) and even Ava to an extent. Truthfully I don’t feel it was OOC what was said under the Siren’s spell, i.e. the part about Dean whining about being in hell. It was cruel; beyond cruel actually that he said that but Dean has a lot of guilt for something that no one else in the world would have been to stand. The whole point of hell is to strip you down until you’re not human anymore and the mere fact that Dean lasted 30 of the 40 years saying no. The bit about Dean holding Sam back is true but the thing is they hold each other back.
And another hiatus!!! I’ll have to wait until March 5th for the next episode.
Being Human [1.03]: It sucks that there are only three more episodes left because I absolutely adore this show. Being Human will have to hold me over until SPN comes back on the air. My only gripe is that sometimes I don’t understand some slang words (or accents) & I have to look words/phrases up, lol. Hopefully it’ll get picked up for a second season.
I love Annie, George & Mitchell!! Although I have to say if I hadn’t seen Aidan Turner’s Mitchell first, I might have liked Guy Flanagan’s better....but only possibly. Turner is so smiley for a vampire but he’s so cute and has an Irish accent. Flanagan was definitely too skinny.
Oh and I wish tv stations weren’t so stingy and would let people from other countries watch things online because America tends to get watered down versions of the good stuff because of commercials and the modesty we think we have.
Lost [5.04-The Little Prince]: I think I like watching the people on the island better than the group off the island (except for Desmond of course). I kinda hope it doesn’t take a whole season to get them back, but that looks like it’s happening. Actually it’s kinda weird how Farraday, Miles & Charlotte became main characters and didn’t suffer from Nikki/Paulo backlash. They just kinda sneaked up on us. Maybe because they seemed like they had a purpose and weren’t basically pricks. Jin’s alive!! Although if anyone thought he was dead…I’m just confused at to if there is anyone else on the island besides them; because after the time shift Sawyer/Locke’s group encountered stuff on the beach in French and then they showed the scene with Rousseau’s group..unless it’s just their stuff washed up on shore. I think what I’m trying to say is: are there 2 groups of French people or not?
Battlestar Galactica [4.16- Blood on the Scales]: Sam Anders better not be dead. If there is a cylon to kill, it should be Tory. She’s useless.
I can’t believe Zarek killed the whole quorum. And now Gaeta & Zarek are dead. I’m just glad I watched the webisodes otherwise I’d think Gaeta was crazy for inciting a mutiny for no reason.
Oh and can I say I don’t care much for the Adama/Roslin love. It’s cute sometimes but otherwise…eh. Or the fact that Kara still can’t make up her mind over choosing Lee or Anders. This episode she clearly decided she was staying with Anders. Pick one already, Thrace!
I accidently sorta got spoiled for next week’s preview (which I never see because I watch the show online and never bother to) so it might be boring from what I heard. We’ll see.
Heroes [3.15-Trust and Blood]: I was gonna go over last week’s episode but I liked this one better. Actually Sylar & Luke were the best parts of this episode. That kid is messed up. In fact Sylar is the only good part of Heroes and thankfully he’s redeeming himself for Volume 3. I don’t even care much for the other storylines at this point. In fact if this show was just Sylar, Luke, HRG, Ted, Mr. Muggles, Eden, The Haitian (but only if they gave him a real name!!!), Eric Roberts’ character and better female characters, it would be 10x better... at least for me. But then it couldn’t be called Heroes…so yeah. I’d watch a show about villains/morally ambiguous people.
Daphne may or may not be dead. Eh…it’s not like she and Matt had much chemistry plus he’s like million years older than her (and I’m not that fond of her). She’s probably not dead. Although I’m confused as to why Matt can see the future now. Or more importantly why does he have Isaac/Usutu’s power of drawing the future? Nathan hates Peter? I’m not sure. At least Peter isn’t super-powerful now. Claire still has her…issues. I'll tolerate the rest of the characters for now I guess. Although I have to say for whatever reason I like Tracy better than Niki/Jessica and it sucks that there is still another one of the out there.
I just hope Sylar doesn’t kill Luke partly because I’m biased; I liked Aliens in America (thanks a lot for that cancellation CW!)
