I'm so sick of deleting spam messages here on lj. How do the other social networking sites not have this issue? It's getting to be 2 or 3 every morning that I have to go through and delete, and I don't post very often or have a large audience, so I don't know why I'm even hitting the spammer's radar

What I've noticed (and I only get about three a week) is that certain posts seem to get more than others. A couple of my Lost discussion posts must have been hotlinked elsewhere, because a specific couple *keep* getting new spam comments, to this very day. It's strangely specific, and pretty inefficient, even for spammers.
