ssooo, you guys might remember that lab I worked in a couple summer's ago, for Dr. Rodefer, with the cracked out rats?  one of which bit me, held on, and I'm now scarred?  well, I kept in touch, cause he's a great guy, and wrote me recommendations, is really  nice, and always said stuff about publications *he was also in cairnes the day steve irwin died, how sad :(  *.
anyway, I was working on my resume and the publications I could put on it (damn jobs, can someone just offer me one please?), and finally e-mailed Josh and asked him exactly what it was I would be able to say I did, as I didn't think being a data collector person really counted as a reason to get authorship on a paper.  Well, I was right, I didn't write anything obviously, BUT if I proofread and do some editing on the manuscripts... I GET AUTHORSHIP IN A LEGITIMATE JOURNAL!!!  I love triple helix and I think it's amazing and I do count it as a legitimate journal, but to have some input on a journal like... neuroscience... journal of psychology or something... omg I'd be in heaven.

this year I have some weird need to prove myself... not sure why.
