well hello lj world... it's been a while...
I have 20min before my WIS meeting (amazing free food and cake, hell yeah) and before my 3 hour seminar class, so I thought I'd do a little rehash of what's been going on here in the burgh.
From the day we moved in we had issues with our 5th housemate, so after many arguments and terrifying our RA (the girl, not us, he likes us haha), we ended getting the house fellow involved, had a meeting, and decided she was moving out. Made things fine until she hadn't moved out 3 weeks later... finally moved out and now we have a freshman girl who was living in a triple made for a double, and is really sweet, so it's nice and everything works!
I thought I'd be going out the first weekend and then being good b/c of kaplan classes, but I took the diagnostic (ha!! funny) and had one strategy class and now I don't have class tiill mid october.
Had tons of soundbyte auditions for a week, so having class/auditions until midnight or 2am tues/wed/thurs nights was a little crazy, but fun, and then fundraising week had me heckling ppl as they walked by and made another week fly by. At the activities fair I started talking to the rugby guys and got myself on their e-mail list and said I'd start the girls team... they took me seriously, and sent out this e-mail telling all the girls who had signed up to make sure they came to practice... I "forgot" to go, and apparently all the other girls did too, so that was the end of that! but I still get rugby e-mails which is kinda entertaining. Went to one of their matches and the after party last weekend and uh... scary... Jack got his eyelid slit and had to have stitches, there were fights and broken tables, woo...!?
Apart from the fact I've had only one or two weekend nights in since we got here, have been hanging out with some new people in new places, aka bars (thank you Shaila!) and now this weekend is two of my girls birthdays 2 days in a row, so it's going to be a busy busy busy sleep deprived expensive weekend.
damn, got distracted, i'll get back to this
