Прошу сенатора Калифорнии помочь Навальному
Я работаю в Калифорнии, оставаясь при этом гражданином России. Каждый житель Калифорнии может прямо обратиться к своим сенаторам и они, как правило, прислушиваются к мнению жителей. Так было всегда, даже когда к сенаторам обращались нелегалы из Мексики, которые хотели работать и жить в Калифорнии.
Вот и я обратился. Я знаю, что сенатор Барбара Боксер была ко-спонсором Акта Магнитского. Я поддерживаю это. Теперь так получается, что Навальный рискует оказаться в тюрьме по придуманному обвинению и я не хочу, чтобы это произошло. Поэтому я написал письмо сенатору используя ее сайт http://www.boxer.senate.gov/
Если кто еще живет в Калифорнии, я прошу сделать так же:
Dear Senator Barbara Boxer,
First of all, as your supporter, I would like to thank you for co-sponsoring Sergei Magnitsky Rule of Law Accountability Act of 2012.
Sergei Magnitsky was one of the brave people who exposed corruption in Russia. He died in Russian jail after being tortured and denied of medical help.
On April 17th there will be a court hearing about Alexey Navalny case, a case which I strongly believe was fabricated. I've read it, it's available online:

I've read it very carefully. I am a native Russian so I understand what it means very well. Navalny is being charged with accusation that he "advised" to sell some wood for a price which prosecution does not believe was fair market price. 1) Prosecution does not even assert that Navalny has any connection to this business, other that he was a friend of the business owner, 2) According to prosecution, there is no evidence that Navalny has any monetary gain out of this deal, 3) There are expert analysis papers stating that the prices were according to current market.
I have no doubt that this case is 100% political to put Navalny in jail and apply torturing pressure upon him.
Alexey Navalny is one of a the most influential political persons in Russia who opposes current regime of Vladimir Putin. Navalny has been fighting corrupting in Russia for a few years and exposed cases with cumulative sum of billions of dollars to be stolen.
I ask you to bring attention to Navalny's case, analyze it and help him in any way you can.
