ok im sorry i havent updated in a while but im just lazy and busy too so sorry....
anyways a lot has happened since last time.
the nyc trip was a shit load of fun, speaking of shit i did plug the toilet buy it wasnt cuz of my shit, it was cause of the god damn plumbing in the building regardless of what anyone says, cause like 5 other people did it too. zach plugged it the second time not me. and dimitry pissed in the shower. yes he really did.
battle of the bands happened, which was amazing for a&f (we came in fourth) and pretty good for novo ))(whatever we're called) our new stuff is better by a bitchload
as for a&f we're perfecting our set right now, we just added a fourth song, which is amazing i might add... but yeah i have no clue about shows right now, we had a few at the bombshelter but we didnt wanna sell 30 tickets cause we're lazy as all hell and we wanted to add to our set. so we'll be playing some in the near future hopefully. as for equipment my head has shown me that it needs a bigbig cab cause it blew out half of bobby's cab (which is 150watts) so i cant use that anymroe, and dustin merrils cab is only 120 watts so it doesnt get any sound out of that thing so i have to buy a bigass cab now. thank you you bitchass overpowering 175 watt head, you are too powerful.
and for novo, we're still finding a name, its hard cause all of you are just waiting for a good name to make fun of, but we'll make that hard and if not oh well, i dont really care. right now we're pulling through those changes we said we making. first of all we arent playing metal anymore obviously. its like a hard rock with breakdowns. (lost prophets maybe? who knows) then we're looking for a guitarist, and we might have found one in jon talbet from central, hes pretty good, not amazing but he could probably get the job done) and we're thirdly looking for a lead singer cause im giving up on that job cause i want to make us better as a band and i figured i can scream since noone else can. andrew lessard is our first audition as far as i know. which would be awesome cause we'd finally get our best bud into the band somehow. anyway thats a wrap on that.
heres a list of my stuff i need to buy soon with limited paycheck for all of you who dont care to know:
1. 175watt head which a&f will own as of this monday cause thats our last payment, then i owe 200$ to the band so i can own it for myself.
2. 175 watt cab which is proving a lot harder than i thought since my head takes great pleasure in blowing out cabs that are too weak to handle its sexiness.
3. i need to order my gibson sg, cause im getting tired of playing my suckyass ibanez gxr20, it gets the job done, and ethans strat is sexy too, but i need an sg in my hands. i really do. thats 650$ by the way.
4. i need to buy a wireless system so i dont trip and fall on my chords. so i can mosh more, so i can look hipdiggitydog coolio forshcizzle... yeah
5. i need to buy a car and a cellphone and an mp3 player and car insurance and shit in general
6. i need to buy new parents cause mine are pretty sucky right now
and drivers ed is getting really annoying cause its everyday and i cant wait till its over. i need my license it will help me out soooo much
and no i didnt forget to talk about lauren... we just passed our one month on thursday if anoyone cares to know. we went to olive garden and it was good. honestly it would be so easy to steal a big bottle of wine from thta place. wine lines every wall. not that i drink cause i dont. the waitors are weird though cause all they do is stand in corners and talk. but she is great as always and she is my everything as always and all she needs to do is get freakin better and not sick anymore. sometimes i look at her and forget how utterly beautiful she is... and it makes me feel really lucky that she found me... <<<333yalots xoxoxox
